PLEASE ... Help FIND LUCKY (Luckie) ... THE MISSING FERRY DOG
#HelpFindLucky #FindLuckie #FindLucky ...
Luckie is a much loved 4 year old Cocker Spaniel. He was looking forward to Christmas with his extended family in Poland when disaster struck on 21st December 2016. Luckie managed to escape from a secure area on board a DFDS ferry at Port of Tyne, North Shields, NE29 and ran in panic off the ship. Were you travelling on the DFDS Ferry from North Shields to Ijmuiden Amsterdam, Holland on 21/12/16? Did you see Luckie either in the secure area for dogs, anywhere on the ferry, or running off the ferry? If so PLEASE contact 07984 449580 or 07934 087250, or his Facebook page:
Help FIND LUCKY -
Luckie was filmed on CCTV in the port area after he left the ferry desperately searching for his family ... ... Brave Luckie tried so hard to reunite himself with his family, even entering the water, but the ferry had left. Terrified and alone he couldn't be caught. For the next five days he stayed in the area near the port but still no one could catch him. After five days Luckie disappeared from the Port area on 27th December. There were reported sightings of him in between Wylam Road and Hackworth Way, Percy Main, Meadow Well and an unconfirmed sighting at the Black Middens. In spite of ongoing searches and publicity, there have been no recent sightings or any news about what has happened to Luckie.
Luckie's family are not from the area where he disappeared and had to return home with broken hearts and an emptiness that is indescribable. Luckie is family. He needs to be reunited with those he loves and who love him. We need to bring this boy home. He needs his family and they long to hold him once again.
Although lost in North Shields, Tyneside, North East England, Luckie could be anywhere now. He needs as many people as possible to be aware of his story and to be looking out for him ... Luckie is family. He needs to be reunited with those he loves and who love him.
PLEASE, share his story far and wide, and if you have ANY information on where Luckie is, know someone who is looking after him or has taken him in, or know what has happened to him, PLEASE, contact 07984 449580 or 07934 087250, or his Facebook page:

Man found on Brown's Bay in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside
Adead man wearing just a pair of socks was found on a beach as temperatures fell as low as -12°C (10.4F) across Britain. The body was discovered by a dog-walker on Brown's Bay in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, at about 8.20am today.Northumbria Police are carrying out enquiries into the incident and a force spokesperson said the death is currently being treated as unexplained. It comes as the Met Office issue weather warnings ahead of the arrival of Storm Dylan, and after temperatures dropped to as low as -12°C (10.4F) at Loch Glascarnoch, in the Scottish Highlands. The man has not been formally identified and the area has been cordoned off by police, who have been asking residents with houses facing the bay if they have CCTV footage.Anyone who may have information about what happened is asked to contact Northumbria Police officers on 101 quoting reference number 247 30/12/17.Heavy snow, rain, thunderstorms and wind caused disruption across much of Britain on Friday as the country was gripped by another day of wintry weather.A change in conditions today will see milder weather move in from the south and west, although cold air over northern parts will mean an icy start.Southern England and the Midlands could see temperatures rise to 15C (59F) as the day progresses, although Scotland may continue to see hill snow. But a yellow warning for wind has been issued for Northern Ireland and Scotland on New Year's Eve as Dylan begins to roll across the region in the early hours. The warning is in place from around 12am to 3pm, during which the Met Office said there is a 'small chance of damage to buildings', as well as power cuts and potentially issues with mobile phone coverage.'Large waves and beach material being thrown on to coastal areas could also be a hazard,' the forecaster added.'There is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected, with the chance that some roads and bridges could close.' Heavy downpours are also predicted to blight much of south-east Wales, plus south-western, central and southern parts of England across the weekend. With a yellow warning for heavy rain issued by the Met Office from 6pm on Saturday to 9am on Sunday, up to 1in (25mm) is predicted as likely to fall, while up to 1.6in (40mm) could be seen in some spots.'With the ground very wet in these areas, this is likely to lead to rising water levels and some flooding in places,' the Met Office said.Despite a squally start, conditions are expected to ease by the time people head out to see in the new year.Meteorologist Alex Burkhill said: 'The good news is the worst of the weather will clear by midnight for the New Year's Eve celebrations.'There will be some wind and rain in the South and West, and the North and East have a better chance of staying dry.'It will be a chilly night, but not exceptionally cold and the breeze might blow a few fireworks in slightly different directions but it shouldn't cause too many problems.
Dangerous driver who crashed into a pub, killed a father and left a woman paralysed has been jailed
A dangerous driver who killed a pedestrian and left a young woman paralysed for the rest of her life has been jailed.
Kyle Hutchinson was over the drug driving limit when he smashed into the entrance of a pub in Newcastle in September last year.
Earlier that night the 20-year-old had been driving a white VW Passat through the west end of the city along with Luke Robinson and Shauna Kime.
Officers were on patrol in the area when they spotted the vehicle and linked it to a police incident earlier that evening.
But when police signalled for Hutchinson to stop he ignored them and slammed his foot on the accelerator.
He continued to drive at speed to avoid capture and his driving became so erratic that police had to abandon the chase.
But minutes later he lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road and into the entrance of The County on Walker Road in Walker.
Friends Paul Collinson, 54, and Christopher McShane, 59, were smoking outside when the vehicle drove straight into them and through the front door of the pub.
Both men were rushed to hospital with serious injuries along with Hutchinson and his two passengers.
Mr Collinson sadly passed away in hospital while Ms Kime, 26, suffered injuries that have left her paralysed for the rest of her life.
Mr McShane and Mr Robinson, xagex, also suffered broken bones but Hutchinson did not suffer any life-changing injuries during the collision.
He was arrested after being discharged from hospital and later charged with causing death by dangerous driving and three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Hutchinson, of Praetorian Drive, Wallsend, admitted the offences at Newcastle Crown Court in May and today he was jailed for eight years.
Following the case, Northumbria Police released CCTV of the moments before the collision and condemned the actions of the driver.

Someone You Loved Lyrics:
I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to save me
This all or nothing really got a way of driving me crazy
I need somebody to heal
Somebody to know
Somebody to have
Somebody to hold
It's easy to say
But it's never the same
I guess I kinda liked the way you numbed all the pain
Now the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to turn to
This all or nothing way of loving got me sleeping without you
Now, I need somebody to know
Somebody to heal
Somebody to have
Just to know how it feels
It's easy to say but it's never the same
I guess I kinda liked the way you helped me escape
Now the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
And I tend to close my eyes when it hurts sometimes
I fall into your arms
I'll be safe in your sound 'til I come back around
For now the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
But now the day bleeds
Into nightfallwn
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
And I tend to close my eyes when it hurts sometimes
I fall into your arms
I'll be safe in your sound 'til I come back around
For now the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
But now the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
Terrifying Moment Man is Almost Swept Away by Storm Surge - Storm Ravages Britain
Evacuations underway as villages cut off in 'national emergency' caused by ferocious storms and floods... and ANOTHER 48 hours of misery are on the way
Storm-ravaged Britain is facing a further battering over the coming days as gales continue to savage miles of coastline.
Already lives have been lost, cliffs have collapsed, sea fronts wrecked and thousands of acres of countryside left underwater. And last night the River Severn was threatening to burst its banks, endangering hundreds of homes.
Yesterday families were forced into emergency shelters and two villages were by cut off by floods. And there is no sign of the worst weather for two decades relenting. Last night the Met Office warned that a further 'storm surge' is due tomorrow.
The flooding and destruction were described as a 'national emergency' by Anne McIntosh, the chairman of the Commons Environment Select Committee. And the Environment Agency warned swells of up to 10ft will hammer the coasts of Devon and Cornwall today and tomorrow.
Jonathan Day, flood risk manager at the agency -- which has issued 103 flood warnings and 262 flood alerts -- said: 'The threat to the coast will continue over the next few days, especially on the South and West coast and along the Severn estuary.'
Yesterday 'keep away' warnings were issued to storm-watchers after the RNLI had to rescue a student who was trapped on a jetty in Aberystwyth while taking photographs.
Dramatic pictures show the 21-year-old, named locally as Edward Laxton, surrounded by crashing waves before rescuers climb up to the pier, give him a lifejacket, and take him by lifeboat to the shore -- where police gave him 'some strong words of advice'.
A helicopter and lifeboat were scrambled when a windsurfer got into difficulties off the Devon coast after his board shattered. And a man was pulled from the sea at 3am yesterday at Newquay, Cornwall, after going for a swim.
He was treated in hospital for hypothermia and later arrested for being drunk and disorderly. Police Sergeant Reggie Butle said: 'Another minute and he would have been washed out to sea and the situation could have been tragic.'
More than 200 homes have been flooded from Cornwall to Scotland, with miles of coastline battered and roads and fields across the country left under water
Prime Minister David Cameron praised the 'great work' of the emergency services and Environment Agency in responding to the latest floods and defended the Government's flooding policy in protecting 200,000 homes.
The Met Office has issued yellow warnings of rain in the south of England and snow in the north of England and southern parts of Scotland. Up to 40mm of rain could fall on higher ground tomorrow and there are more warnings of flooding and travel disruption.
The Environment Agency warned that the south and west coast of England and the Severn estuary still remain at risk of coastal flooding throughout the weekend and next week.
Communities along the north east coast, including Whitby and South Shields, could see flooding, while parts of the south coast, such as Portsmouth and Newhaven, may get more coastal flooding over the next two days.
Flooding affecting thousands of homes from Cornwall to Scotland is a 'national emergency', Anne McIntosh, chair of the Commons Environment Select Committee told Sky News.
She warned Britain needs to hold regular rehearsals to simulate what happens when major weather hits, to ensure the country is prepared in the future.
It came as a man had to be pulled from the sea to safety in the early hours yesterday, after ignoring warnings about the dangers posed by the fierce storm.
Rescuers in Newquay, north Cornwall, plucked the man to safety after he went for a swim at around 4.30am.
He was spotted in waist-high water by police and was dragged from the sea by Sergeant Reggie Butler and other officers and taken to hospital.
Officers secured a line to Sgt Butler, who waded out to pull the man to shore at Towan Beach, because there was no time to wait for other emergency services to get there.
Mr Butler tweeted: 'Great teamwork by my team again tonight rescuing male from sea. All played vital role, speed was essential.
Not enough time for other emergency rescue services to get there, casualty was in danger, we had chance to rescue him.'
