Sorry this one's late, had a few hiccups along the way while editing, but it's done now! this video shows not only the CP Support Our Troops units, but also tells of some history of CP in the war years. and of course, we also see the beloved H1b Hudson 2816 in the Heritage Pavilion.
Song used for end credits is A Pittance Of Time By Terry Kelly. I don't own the song, but since it is used for an educational video, and has been edited slightly for the video, it fits under fair use.
Here is the song on YT:

CP trains in Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park
Here are 3 clips from my recent trip to Glenbow Ranch. I highly recommend checking this place out. I find it much easier to get around on a bike. It would take a couple days to see on foot. Besides being a very beautiful place, complete with rolling hills and mountain views, the CP mainline runs through the park.
For those who have not been out here, the area is a former ranch. Some of the park is still is a working ranch. The owners decided to turn a large portion of their land into a park. They wanted to protect the land from development from Calgary and Cochrane. There was once a rail siding named Glenbow in the area, complete with a store, water tower and a few other things. The park is full of kiosks with historical info.
While I was out there, I saw 3 eastbound freight trains and 1 westbound surprise! The Royal CP came through. It was a shorter train. I'm assuming it was for a fishing or golfing excursion.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Wallis Simpson (born Bessie Wallis Warfield; 19 June 1896 – 24 April 1986), later known as the Duchess of Windsor, was an American socialite whose intended marriage to the British king Edward VIII caused a constitutional crisis that led to Edward's abdication.
Wallis grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. Her father died shortly after her birth and she and her widowed mother were partly supported by their wealthier relatives. Her first marriage, to U.S. naval officer Win Spencer, was punctuated by periods of separation and eventually ended in divorce. In 1931, during her second marriage, to Ernest Simpson, she met Edward, then Prince of Wales. Five years later, after Edward's accession as King of the United Kingdom, Wallis divorced her second husband to marry Edward.
The King's desire to marry a woman who had two living ex-husbands threatened to cause a constitutional crisis in the United Kingdom and the Dominions, and ultimately led to his abdication in December 1936 to marry the woman I love. After abdicating, the former king was created Duke of Windsor by his brother and successor, King George VI. Wallis married Edward six months later, after which she was formally known as the Duchess of Windsor, but was not allowed to share her husband's style of Royal Highness.
Before, during, and after the Second World War, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor were suspected by many in government and society of being Nazi sympathisers. In 1937, they visited Germany and met Adolf Hitler. In 1940, the Duke was appointed governor of the Bahamas, and the couple moved to the islands until he relinquished the office in 1945. In the 1950s and 1960s, the Duke and Duchess shuttled between Europe and the United States living a life of leisure as society celebrities. After the Duke's death in 1972, the Duchess lived in seclusion and was rarely seen in public. Her private life has been a source of much speculation, and she remains a controversial figure in British history.
