Burlington has been waiting for it's own Lululemon Athletica store for years.
The new Lululemon location at Mapleview Mall in Burlington has been inspired by the Burlington Lakefront.
Entering the store you will find a marine inspired sail made of maple.
The store inside is filled with different shaded of blue inspired by Burlington's own lakefront.
If you're a Lululemon fan, come stop by the Mapleview location in Burlington. The store is now open -)

Otis Series 1 Glass Elevator at Mapleview Mall, Burlington, Ontario, Canada
This elevator does not have the classic Otis chime when moving to another floor, but very strangely has an up button right below the indicator. I rode this elevator several times over the course of the afternoon. The elevator opens facing the food court on the 2nd floor. This mall has my brother's favourite store, Hot Topic. I went in there looking for some ear expanders and skinny jeans for his birthday in 2 weeks.

Mapleview shoppers enjoyed an eye-popping surprise on Saturday, April 24th, as a swarm of dancers hit the food court for a flash mob dance performance unlike anything Burlington has seen. The dynamic performance was staged to celebrate the Phase II completion of Mapleviews $62 million redevelopment project.
A two-year project that began in April 2008, the redevelopment has introduced key destination retailers to the region, including Zara, Sephora, Aritzia, XXI Forever, Browns and PINK by Victorias Secret. It has also included the relocation and enlargement of the food court, cosmetic interior renovations, new mall entrances, renovated washrooms and two new sit-down restaurants.
