Hello,
Had a free day in the middle of filming so I decided to go around Changsha. Went to Hunan museum, IFS and to a park. As I'm uploading this, I'm currently on my 25th day in China. I have been blessed with a wonderful opportunity to take part in filming an amazing show. I wanted to vlog some of my days as a means of remembering this wonderful trip that I am going through.

At the center of the park, there a small tower in the memory of revolutionnaries who died in their fight.
Inside the park you have also a big artificial lake and many activities: boating, attraction park, pony riding...
Nearby the park there is the old television station, several administration. Many wealthy people live there. You have a few fancy restaurant, hotel...

Where to do the health certificate in Changsha?
As a foreigner, in order to work in China and get a Z visa or working visa, every year you must pass a medical exam.
This is the place where you should go in Changsha.
Don't eat, bring a ID photo and 400 or 500rmb.

hi everyone!
Well a good thing is...I can sort of talk again. My voice is still a bit raw but not as bad as last week. Yesterday it was Easter and didn't do anything. So I made it up today. Went to this beautiful park called the martyrs Park. Sadly I didn't have enough time but it was still good. They have loads of things to do at the park. Like Karaoke, water bicycles, an adventure park, doing different kind of sports etc etc...The weather was just beautiful beautiful too. I guess the raining season is almost over so I can go out more and explore the city.

Changsha, Hunan - OFF THE BEATEN PATH Changsha Food
I'm getting off of the tourist trail to find some local Changsha specialties.
First off, it's a bowl of rice noodle soup that is so delicious it might explode your wee brain into a million little pieces. The broth is the best part. It has a tang to it that most likely comes from all the pickled ingredients you put in it. Pickled green beans, pickled radish, and some sauerkraut bits. That plus fresh chili peppers really makes it a special combination of flavors - a very Hunan combination of flavors.
The second meal I eat is at a restaurant down a side street, at the bottom of an apartment building. Their specialty is meatballs with century egg in it. Chopped up preserved eggs and a salted egg yolk in every single meatball. It's a savory meal that goes great with beer. The eggs add a creaminess and a blast of salt and umami.
Changsha has so much amazing food. It's hard to choose just 3 meals a day, but if you get a chance to eat at these places, you wont regret it.
