A Tribute To Denise Pflum-Missing From Indiana 33 years
This case is near and dear to my heart because I was 9 years old when she went missing and lived just north of her hometown. It is a case that has haunted Fayette County and surrounding areas for 33 years. New chatter among the locals state that a team out of Texas is looking to do a television special on Denise and her disappearance. I sure hope it brings national attention to this case. Just last year, law enforcement began digging and draining the 4th pond at Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary as rumors from 1986 til now have been that who ever it was that killed her (allegedly) put her in that pond. With the harsh winter Indiana had this year, it has been very difficult to complete the entire investigation at the pond. However, during an interview with local channel 3 in Connersville, Denise's father stated that some sort of device like a sonar will be brought in to look beneath the surface to see what they can find. We are all praying for the Pflum family that they find their daughter.
