There is also a large collection of farm machinery and vehicles out the back. Check out the flip flop windmill and the Stripper a family used to sleep in. You’ll be amazed at what you will find.

Aussie Farmers Foundation -- Supporting Orana's Meningie Nursery, South Australia
Learning new skills through employment gives meaning, purpose, social experience and mental stimulation and employees at Meningie Nursery in SA lives were given a boost when the nursery was given a grant from Aussie Farmers Foundation in 2013. Orana's nursery employs adults with a disability and it supplies native plants to local communities for replanting programs. Growing high numbers uses a lot of water and the grant upgraded the irrigation system which will allow growing to increase to 200,000 plants a year.

Tour to Adelaide - Day 6 - RECO RIDE
The Shortest day at 85k. The road from Meningie to Tailers Bend was really boring but when we got to Tailers Bend, we then took the boat across the river to ride the back roads. This was a lovely quiet road with lots of small farms and animals. Best road of the Tour.
We also rode through the infamous 'Woods Point'. This one was a little nicer on the legs.
