China AP Market Shanghai
An in Depth look at the AP Shanghai Market. This shows interactions with the workers and the bartering that can go down here. Bags and watches were mostly left out as we were asked not to film these. This video will give you a good idea of what to expect when coming to this market. In all honesty, this market was one of the best in China. The bartering monsters come out....
Prices: you may or may not get the same as us
underarmour t shirts 40-50 RMB
underarmour long sleeve 60 RMB
Adidas ultra boost 180RMB
Adidas boost 150RMB
most shoes should be around 150-200RMB
regular t shirts 30-50 RMB
mens sweat pants 100RMB
superdry jacket 200 RMB
Canada goose jacket womens long 350 RMB
some tea 35 RMB
Bose Bluetooth headphones 80-100RMB
Apple watch 100RMB
Supreme hat 50-80RMB
Stussy beanie 30-50 RMB
Sunglasses 50 RMB
that's all I can remember for now.
If you are not getting the price you want, then there is another store with the exact same stuff around the corner. Also leaving and coming back works as well. Good luck and I would say that everyone has a different style to bartering. I would typically pay a couple dollars more than my friend as he was able to stick to his original pricing. I would cave in and pay the extra couple bucks. All in all, I'm home now and wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

The metro system of the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province of China. It is operated by the state-owned Guangzhou Metro Corporation and was the fourth metro system to be built in mainland China, after those of Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai.
The earliest efforts to build an underground rapid transit system in Guangzhou date back to 1960. In the two decades that followed, the project was brought into the agenda five times, but ended up abandoned each time due to financial and technical difficulties.[11][12] Preparation of what would lead to today's Guangzhou Metro did not start until the 1980s, and it was not until 1993 that construction of the first line, Line 1, officially began.[12][13] Line 1 opened four years later in 1997 with five stations in operation.[14]
As of December 2017 Guangzhou Metro has 13 lines in operation, namely Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4, Line 5, Line 6, Line 7, Line 8, Line 9, Line 13, Line 14, Guangfo Line, and Zhujiang New Town APM reaching both the urban core and surrounding suburbs. Guangfo Line connects Guangzhou and Foshan and is the first metro line between two cities in the country.[15] Daily service hours start at 6:00 am and end at midnight, and daily ridership averages over 7 million.[16][1][17] Having delivered 2.568 billion rides in 2016 (Guangzhou Metro) is the fourth busiest metro system in the world, after the metro systems of Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul. Guangzhou Metro operates 231 stations,[note 1] including 28 interchange stations, and 390.7 km of lines.
Extensive development of the metro network has been planned for the decade of 2011–2020. With construction started Line 11, Line 18, Line 21 and extensions of Line 8 and Guangfo Line and an extension of Line 7 into Shunde, Foshan. Total operational capacity is scheduled to exceed 600 km by 2020.[18] The Guangzhou Metro is actively constructing connections to neighboring cities. Foshan is already connected via the Guangfo Metro with connections via Line 7 and Foshan Metro Line 2 under construction. Dongguan city is proposing connections with Guangzhou Metro Line 13 and the Dongguan Metro.[19] Neighboring Huizhou city proposed in 2016 that Guangzhou Metro Line 16 be extended into Longmen County, achieving the integration of Huizhou and Guangzhou. In January 2018, Huizhou's mayor Mai Jiaomeng revealed that Huizhou was studying two connections with the Guangzhou Metro with Line 16 heading to Yonghan Town, Longmen County and Line 21 extended to Mount Luofu in Boluo County.[20][21]

Century Link Shopping Mall, Shanghai, China September 2018
My visit to China in September started with 3 nights stay in Shanghai. Shanghai is a very large city and there are plenty of interesting places to visit.
The group tour is good in the sense that you don't need to prepare anything but just follow the tour rep.
As this is my first experience in China, I chose a tour group to travel.
I would like to explore myself next time and whilst in Shanghai, I tried the Shanghai Metro. It is a very efficient transport system in Shanghai. All the stations are written in Chinese and English and there is no difference in travelling in London or other Western Cities.

Xinyang Knock Off Market, Shanghai, China
What would a trip be to Shanghai (or China) without shopping for knock-offs? The Xinyang Fashion Mall is tucked away under the Shanghai Science and Technical Museum in Pudong and filled with souvenirs and goods. Easy to reach by Metro (watch the video on how to use the metro.)
Clothes, pearls, handbags, watches, tailors, a food court.... It just goes on and on. If you are looking for something special just ask. A salesperson will escort you up and down the aisles to a stall owned by a brother, uncle or father and they'll begin hauling goods out of secret compartments. Whether or not you buy (and you WILL buy), it's fun and the salespeople are good natured. Don't miss Xinyang!
Shanghai Metro City
Downtown Xu Jiahui is in the center of Shanghai housing many department stores like Hong Kong Grand Gate Way, Oriental Mansion, 6th Department Store , Sogo and Metro City. This area is a stage of the hottest fashion display and the newest digital product release sell shop attracting millions of people coming everyday.
Metro City has the coolest PC shop selling the newest digital product and hottest fashion shop in China leading the whole trend. And it is also one of the best restaurants in Shanghai. The Glass Ball of Metro City is its unique identity and also the most obvious landmark in downtown Xu Jiahui. Traditional linear lightings were used with intention of turning this glass ball into a magic color crystal ball. However, traditional lighting method has high failing rate and can not achieve the Magic Crystal Ball idea with only one dim function.
To reinforce the popularity and fame of Metro City in downtown, a brand new look of this Ball was proposed and finished by StrongLED.
With presence of Linear Vision, a special linear shape screen pixel, is mounted along the hundreds structure metal structure levels and formed a plasma screen. RTP, the central controller, will put World Cup match and new NOKIA cell phone release on to this giant glass plasma TV to thousands of audiences shopping in this area. Because of this programmable StrongLED technology, the Ball controls color change at its will like a magician. The ball also features 1600 units dot light at each joint point of two Linear Visions.
Metro City has dramatically changed the whole area's landscape with this glimmering Ball and reinforced its landmark position in down Xu Jiahui.

Shanghai's Largest and Most Oppulant Shopping Mall: Global Harbor
This is the Global Harbor mall in the Putuo district of Shanghai just after it first opened. It is the largest mall in Shanghai, covering 480,000 square meters, and It is part of a growing trend of opulent, luxury malls that are appearing all around China. It is full of western stores like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Starbucks, H&A, and Gucci. Apparently, it was designed to look like a ship, but except for the paintings of such I didn't get that impression.

CRAZY SPICY Chinese HOT POT at Hai Di Lao on Nanjing Road | Shanghai, China
Back in April of 2019, I took my second trip to the country of China. I headed to Shanghai to do a one-day job with an awesome company and built a three-city itinerary around it to give me ten whole days to explore! I hit up Shanghai as well as the cities of Suzhou and Hangzhou. I can’t wait to share my latest Chinese adventures with you!
Subscribe to Nea on Instagram:
After arriving in Shanghai earlier in the day, I headed out on my first evening with my friend Nea to eat some spicy Szechwan hot pot on Nanjing Road, the most famous road in the city. Come along with us on our fiery Chinese food adventure!
We arrived at Hai Di Lao, which is next to the metro exit. It’s on the fifth floor of a huge shopping mall. I thought the restaurant looked packed, but Nea didn’t think so!
We had an hour-long wait ahead of us, so we sat in their waiting area and had some sour plum juice and popcorn while we waited. The popcorn was really good and reminded me of cereal. I also ordered a strong Chinese amber lager. It was really good and only 10 yen, so around $1.40 U.S.
We waited about 15 minutes and were taken to our booth. You can order up to four different dishes, which cook over the grill set into your table. They even gave me an apron. We chose our hot pot soups from the menu since this branch didn’t have a buffet. There are lots of meat options including beef, pork, lamb, and more. I was so excited!
Our soups and meats came, along with lots of veggies. We still had noodles coming, too. Each soup had a different level of spice. I couldn’t wait to try them all. The meats cook in only two minutes!
I went for a spicy one, which wasn’t too spicy. Next was the crazy spicy one, which was super hot. My tongue felt like it exploded! Then I tried some mushrooms, which almost felt like tofu. It was so good! There were so many different flavors to choose from with the different meats, vegetables, and soups. The lightest one had no spice, while the hottest was like an inferno!
The tomato one was also spicy. I tried some delicious lamb and more mushrooms, which I loved. Then I tried the beef, which was super tender, and more spicy sauce. But now everything was spicy!
The mini cabbage was a little hot with a tomato base. Then I went with crunchy mushrooms with the least spicy sauce, as well as fermented bamboo. The tomato one was the spiciest! It was so hot! It makes your lips tingle!
The spice was so intense, I had to go back for some more beer!
Then we watched the noodle master pull noodles right in front of us. He whipped them around in huge arcs and yet they never touched the floor! It was so cool! They take two minutes to cook.
Then it was time to try the noodles! They were so hot, so I had to let them cool off a bit. The tomato base absorbed into the noodles and made it taste so good!
I avoided the ultimate spice and went for some meat and veggies in the rest of the sauces. It was super delicious and a little fatty. The best thing about hot pot is the way everything absorbs the sauce. And the best thing is, it only cost about $50 U.S.
After overeating, Nea and I headed back out onto Nanjing Road to explore this amazing pedestrian street. There are massive shopping malls, lots of skyscrapers, and restaurants. I even spotted a display for Avengers: Endgame that featured Lego faces and a huge Thanos statue with his sword!
The lights were slowly turning off as I explored the area after Nea headed off, but I’d see her again the next day. The language barrier here is real, so I suggest hiring a guide or finding an English-speaking friend when you come to China.
I hope you loved coming along with me and Nea on our spicy Chinese hot pot dinner! If you did, please give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment. Also, please subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already so you don’t miss out on any of my upcoming travel/food content!

A.P. Plaza - Fake Market of Shanghai
This is a place where you can find replicas of the most famous items from Shoes, Clothes, Watches, Hand Bags, Travel Bags, Jackets, Electronics, Drones etc....
AP Plaza is Shanghai's biggest fake market, located underground in Metro Line 2's Science & Technology Museum station. The northern half of AP Plaza, called Xinyang, is a collection of stalls, touts, and greedy salespeople out to rip-off unsuspecting tourists with fake, Fake, FAKE goods of all stripes. As a general rule of thumb, offer 10% of the original asking price, and settle for somewhere between 10% and 30%. Bargain hard, carry cash, and be prepared to walk away from a bunch of stalls before settling on a price.
