Filmed on 17/05/2019. The second station is along the Tees Valley Line linking between Darlington and Saltburn, welcome to Middlesbrough (Season 6 Episode 13)
The latest May timetable changes which were made in 2018 has seen additional services along the Esk Valley Line with services extended to Danby & Battersby. Daily fast services from Saltburn to Carlisle. Also, a Sunday diagram with a long distance service linking Cumbria to North Yorkshire Carlisle to Whitby.
This is what was seen during a 90 minutes stint:

Middlesbrough Station 18/12/18
The Stations from our two day winters holiday up North firstly visiting a few stations around Manchester and Blackpool a lot of these being old stations for us apart from Eccles and Patricroft which were new stations to visit. On our second day we headed into Yorkshire to do some revisits and to visit one new station in our hunt for the Pacer train units!

It's another vlog and a trip to Middlesbrough Bus Station for some spotting, videoing and photography. Several large hot chocolates might also have been involved! Trains at: Middlesbrough Station 3/3/2017
On a cold wet beginning to March see's me travel to Middlesbrough Station in the north east of England. Its opporated by Transpennine Express. Northern also run services through this station. I managed to catch a few Northern Pacers and Sprinters during the course of the afternoon. Train traffic is very frequent with odd freight train workings. I hope you enjoy the video!

Filmed on 16/06/2018. Time for a short day along the Tyne and Tees Day Ranger ticket. Lets kick things of with a few trains at Middlesbrough (Season 5 Episdoe 28).
Since the new Northern timetables are in action (which hasn't been a big success) has seen soem quite interesting changes.
Middlesbrough train station see's a variety of Northern Railway & Transpennine Express services heading for a variety of destinations including: Hexham, Newcastle, Whitby, York, Saltburn, Darlington, Bishop Auckland and daily services for Carlisle fast via Darlington.

Train Service From Hexham To Nunthorpe Calling At Middlesbrough
Transpennine Express 185132, York to Middlesbrough - 16/06/2018
Filmed on 16/06/2018. It is time for another train ride, not a pacer, not a sprinter but the all time favourite and one of the best second generation DMU's, a class 185.
Here, we take a ride on board 185132 betwenn York and Middlesbrough via Northallerton and Thornaby. Due to engineering works, Transpennie Express was running a reduced timetable between York and Manchester. The Mancherster Airport to Middlesbrough diagrams had to be cut short to York.

A journey which takes roughly an hour to complete. There was a speed restriction of 5 MPH for the approach into Middlesbrough railway station.

Trains At Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough railway station serves the large town of Middlesbrough in North Yorkshire, England and is managed by TransPennine Express.The station is served by a number of routes, all of which are operated by Northern, except those to Manchester that are operated by TransPennine Express.
The Tees Valley Line from Bishop Auckland & Darlington to Saltburn, (usually a British Rail Class 156 Super Sprinter or Class 158 Express Sprinter). Monday to Saturday daytimes there is a service every 30 minutes to Darlington & Saltburn and every hour to Bishop Auckland. There are also three a.m peak services to Newcastle via Durham.[18] Sundays see an hourly service to Darlington/Saltburn and a two-hourly service to Bishop Auckland.
The Esk Valley Line to Whitby via Nunthorpe and Grosmont, (usually a British Rail Class 156 Super Sprinter or Class 158 Express Sprinter). The hourly service runs up to seventeen trains a day to Nunthorpe with four of the trains continuing to the terminus at Whitby, one running as far as Danby and a sixth as far as Battersby.[19]. Sunday services (four each way, some running through to/from Newcastle) operate throughout the year. A new station on the Esk Valley Line to serve the James Cook University Hospital (between Middlesbrough and Marton railway stations) was opened on 18 May 2014.[20]
The Durham Coast Line to Newcastle Central via Hartlepool and Sunderland (usually a British Rail Class 142 Pacer (to be phased out at the end of December 2019) or Class 156 Super Sprinter).[18] There is a train every hour to Newcastle (most of which continue along the Tyne Valley Line to Hexham or Carlisle), with many of these running to/from Nunthorpe. Sundays see an hourly service through to/from the MetroCentre and Carlisle.
The North Trans-Pennine line to Manchester Airport via York and Leeds (using a British Rail Class 185 Desiro). Monday to Saturdays there is an hourly service to Manchester Airport and every two hours on Sundays. TransPennine Express also operate one daily return service to Liverpool.[21]
