Abudhabi Fish Market | Mina Fish Market | Must try seafood.Where to eat in Abu Dhabi. Part 2
If you are looking for a true to the heart experience of having #seafood in #abudhabi, #Minafishmarketabudhabi is the place for that. located right next to the habour is a the largest fish market in U.A.E
They have got a variety of seafood that middle east waters have to offer. From yemeni Salmon to Omani lobsters, You name it they have it.
The prices range from minimum 30dhirams to a about 150 dhirams a kilo of whatever seafood you want to buy, depending on the fish the prices vary.
You are allowed to bargain and they expect you to but for me this place had the most affordable prices than a super market.
You can choose your seafood and each fish monger are loyal to a certain grill restaurant and they will take you to them or you can choose for yourself, There are a range of grill kitchens from egyption to indian and the flavours are kept authentic and true to their respective countries of orgin.
We chose a egyptian grill restaurant (rather it was chosen for us by our fish monger)???? and the name was Al Sader grill restaurant. Now all these places dont look like they are located in a fish market because you dont feel like that once you are inside the restaurant, its only when you look outside that you know you are in a market of somesort.
From the fish mongers to the kitchen staff to the restaurant everyone is really friendly and easy to communicate with although many dont speak english, its not hard to communicate with the language of food.????
If all this fish market business is not your thing you can just walk into any of the restaurants instead and have your seafood taken away.
You can choose from seafood salads to soups to fried calamari to baked fish and grilled seafood and if you choose the indian grill kitchens you can get your seafood cooked into curries instead if thats what you want.
What we had was fried squid and grilled jumbo prawns and lobster and seabream all grilled to perfection with a an awesome red sauce.. once i had a taste of that sauce i wanted everything grilled with that sauce because it was so good and i wanted to know what was in it. (im yet to find out though)????
We also ordered some plain white rice but by far was it plain, it was really delicate with a beautiful aroma that went so well with the seafood grilled with that secret sauce. (REALLY WHATS IN THAT SAUCE!?!?) ????????????
Three large fried squids, One big seabream fish, 3 jumbo prawns, 1 medium sized lobster, 1 portion of rice and 3 king coconuts costed just a mere 170 dhirams. Thats less than 50 US dollars.
Overall its a wonderful experience and anyone and everyone should and must visit and must try and must have seafood from MINA FISH MARKET.

Mina Fish Market, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Buying Fresh Catch of Fish and Seafood
Mina Fish Market in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the main market for the fresh catch of all kinds of seafood. The place is clean and free of the typical smell of fish as it is being kept clean by people running the market. The price is also cheaper compared to the other fish markets in the Emirate. You can haggle for the price with the vendor. The more you buy, the higher the discount. I bought a number of fish (seabream, hasa-hasa, and milkfish aka bangus), prawns, and crabs for a week supply.

Mina Fish Market, Abu Dhabi | UAE
Mina fish market, Abu Dhabi is one of the oldest and the largest in the UAE.
This is the best place to buy all kinds of sea fish including Hamour, King fish, Arabian Safi, Sheri, Crab, Lobsters, Tiger Prawns and Even sharks. In Mina fish market, a small fee you can have the fish cleaned as well. There are a few restaurants in Mina fish market, can cook the fish as well for you for a small fee.
Even if you don't want to buy anything, it is a great market to explore.
The men in red clean and prepare the fish for you for about 10 Dirham per Kg. Then you have to pay someone to make it, and if you want to eat in one of the restaurants, you pay a fee for the use of the table.
If you are self catering, get the men in red to clean it and take it home to cook.
If the weather is not hot in Abu Dhabi, you could save money by getting it cooked and eating outside. If u wish to visit Abu Dhabi, Do not miss Mina Fish Market.
Exploring Abu Dhabi's Fish Market
Abu Dhabi is a place filled with the most stunning architecture, high-end restaurants, luxury hotels and incredible views.
But it's also a city with a long, proud maritime heritage, from the earliest pearl diver (who's success paved the way for the emirate to grow) to the modern cruise industry operating from Abu Dhabi's ports.
One of our favourite places in the Mina port is the fish market - it's a bustling place where hundreds of fishermen come every morning, unloading their boats with the catch of the day, ready to sell to wholesalers, restaurants and individuals.
Yes, that's right - not only do chefs go along to pick up ingredients for their menus that day, but the general public can go along, too.
There's no reason to feel daunted by the place, either, it's very easy to navigate and the people working there couldn't be more friendly or helpful.
All you need to do is choose what you want, pay for it, take it to someone to clean up and then you can either take your bounty home to cook later, or take it to one of the shops in the market, who will cook it however you like.
If you've ever winced at paying Dhs150 for a couple of prawns when you're eating out, this is the place for you - Dhs30 will get you a whole kilogram.
Take a look at this week's vlog and see for yourself.

????ABUDHABI MEENA FISH???? MARKET????
The cacophony of sellers and buyers drifts out of the low lying building in Abu Dhabi’s Mina port. The sounds swirl with the smell of fish and cooking. The Mina Fish Market is an assault on the senses in the best possible way.
Walking through the doors visitors are immediately met with smells and sounds. While it’s not all pleasant, there is no mistaking where you are. The market is one large room filled with dozens of stalls and countless amounts of fish and seafood.

I want to focus on making videos. Period. I'm a one-man production crew most of the time and my editing skills suck. It takes me all day to edit a video. Add two babies, a house full of beautiful Filipinas causing me stress, and my beer drinking, and I just don't have time to answer every piece of communication coming my way. I got rid of Patreon and a monthly income because I didn't have the time to properly thank and interact with everyone. A thank you email created and sent by an intern ain't sincere in my book. It's more sincere if I just say thank you for your contribution now because it's really me typing these words.
