Miyoshi Shrine Bonten Festival(三吉梵天祭)
Miyoshi Shrine Bonten Festival (Akita city)
The festival is particularly exciting among winter festivals of Akita prefecture.
Bonten is made by decorating bamboo baskets with color fabric for good harvest and health.
Men race to the shrine to become the first to make offerings of bonden. They sometimes start hustling, jostling and grappling each other, so the festival is called Bonten fighting.
三吉梵天祭(秋田市)
「三吉梵天祭」は、地元の若者たちが竹かごを飾り付けした梵天を担いで神殿までの先を競う豪快な祭りで、「けんか梵天」とも呼ばれています。

Hiburi Kamakura(Kakunodate Fire and Snow Festival) (Semboku city)
The festival is held at the cold winter night on February.
Participants dip their rice straw balls into the fire and swing the fire balls around their bodies to ward off the evil spirits and wish for the healthy new year.
【4K】Omisoka walk in snowy Aomori
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Omisoka - time of coming new year. I got bored and decided to spend in snowy Aomori.
I walked from Aomori station to Uto shrine, Aomori park full of crows, Hirota shrine before 12am and back after 12am. It was snowing and oly my ASMR steps in snow were breaking dead quietness. Except areas around shrines there were no people.

Akita Kanto Festival at Honolulu Festival 3/9/2019. Check out these amazing performers balance these tall bamboo poles with many lanterns on them. It's quite a sight as the taiko players bang their drums to add to the excitement. You can't help but wonder if they will drop it or if the bamboo poles will break.

Tsuchizaki Minato Hikiyama Festival: A Float with Comical Touches Parades Through an Akita Community
The float (hikiyama) parades held on July 20–21 every year are part of the annual rites performed by the Tsuchizaki Shinmeisha, the main shrine of Tsuchizaki, a seaport community with a long history located in the city of Akita, capital of Akita Prefecture. The July event, popularly known as the Tsuchizaki Minato Hikiyama Festival, has been designated an important intangible national cultural asset, and it is one of the 33 Japanese float festivals that were approved as a set for inclusion in the UNESCO list of the world’s intangible cultural heritage in 2016.
The front side hikiyama is decorated with colorful models of famous warriors from the past. The rear consists of a platform for musicians. And on the top are comical figures and a short satirical poem relating to current events.

Japanese New Year, Ōmisoka 大晦日, Hatsumōde 初詣, Obisha sai お備射祭, by Kari Gröhn, karigrohncom
Japanese New Year: Ōmisoka (大晦日), Hatsumōde (初詣), Obisha-sai (お備射祭), by Kari Gröhn, karigrohncom
The night before New Year (Ōmisoka 大晦日) is a Japanese traditional celebration on the last day of the year. At midnight many people visit a shrine or temple for the first time of the year
(Hatsumōde 初詣). Generally, wishes for the new year are made, new charms or amulets are bought, and the old ones are returned to the shrine so they can be burned.
Obisha-sai (御備射祭) is a sacred archery ritual which intends to divine good for the whole year, and also as prayer to ward off bad spirits.
At midnight 31 December, Buddhist temples ring their bells a total of 108 times to symbolize the human sins in Buddhist belief, and to get rid of the worldly desires regarding sense and feeling in
every Japanese citizen.

【Live】Walking in Miyoshi town (Awa-ikeda station)
Walking in small town on Shikoku along old hoises, few shrines and river park. In the end I'm going to fly, but you will see it only in 4K version.
Using Low Latency which has around 15 sec lag.
RULES
* Mention my name as @Rambalac or @RambalacLive if you want ask to make something closer or check other directions.
* Before asking check if you are really watching most recent live by clicking Live button.
* If you suggest direction do not use here as here for you is 5-10 sec past for me. Ask at least 10 sec before turn, or use big enough landmark like traffic lights or shop names.
For AfterLive discussions I created Discord server . Probably I will join to LiveStream voice channel during filming but why filming I will answer only into Youtube chat.
4K archive of this live event will be uploaded about same day but 1 hour video takes up to a week to be processed by Youtube to full 4K quality. So be patient and check .

Yoko Morikawa - Japanese instructor as a guest lecturer at University American College Skopje
UACS strongly believes in 3 principles:
- International accreditation
- International professors
- International students
Having a lecturer from Japan, to teach Japanese to UACS students was a huge advantage for our students. Even more, that this exchange is funded by Japanese Government.
