Tanning Addict Obsessed With Getting Darker | HOOKED ON THE LOOK
SUBSCRIBE to Barcroft TV:
SUPER-TANNED Hannah Tittensor takes sun beds to such an extreme level that she sometimes gets mistaken for a different race. But the beauty therapy student wants people to know: “I’m not racist., I just really like having a tan.” Hannah, 22, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, is Caucasian but became addicted to tanning when she got an “amazing tan” on holiday in Turkey in 2015. A photo from the trip shows how she completely changed colour from her natural white to a dark brown. But her remarkable colour isn’t just down to the sun. Hannah uses under-the-counter tanning injections of a substance called Melanotan, which users take to go darker more quickly under sunlight or sun beds. And while Hannah admits she is at the “extreme end’, she says she is part of a growing trend in tanning in Belfast, with many using the illegal drug.

New statue of football legend George Best unveiled in Belfast
There have been plenty of examples where turning a footballer into a statue hasn't quite worked out and a sculpture of George Best has drawn awful reviews after being unveiled on Wednesday. A statue of the Manchester United legend has been erected outside Windsor Park in Belfast and was presented by his former Northern Ireland team-mates Pat Jennings and Gerry Armstrong on what would have been his 73rd birthday. Best, who made over 350 appearances and scored more than 100 goals for the Red Devils, died in 2005 at the age of 59 and his homeland have now attempted to pay tribute to him.

Wilson's Court Entry Belfast, Mermaid Inn, Northern Star Newspaper
I'm continuing my walking tour of the Belfast Enteries. Many Belfast historians would say that these entries are n fact where Belfast began. They were key to and at the hub of all that was happening as regards commerce, trade, industry, pubs, lodging for incoming sailors etc and indeed places of residence.
Wilson’s Court Entry is one of the short alleyways known as The Entries which link High Street and Ann Street. Most Belfast people do not know of its existence and it is a rather dour, dank place, which suffers from unpleasant neglect. Wilson’s Court can be found between Joy’s Entry and Crown Entry. It’s not a well used passageway but it’s here you will find the Mermaid Inn - this building is believed to be one of the earliest surviving domestic buildings in the city.
This entry has not weathered the ravages of time well. Yet at one time there was an office in this dark alleyway that the famous United Irishman newspaper was published- The Northern Star.
The radical Presbyterian businessman Samuel Neilson founded the paper in 1792 and for five years it engaged in an uncompromising campaign of criticism of the British government’s policies in Ireland, advocating freedom, equality and brotherhood.
The Northern Star supported the United Irishmen and called for greater religious tolerance, the end of unwarranted English ‘meddling’ in Irish affairs and the creation of a three hundred seat parliament on the island, in which all men could have the vote. By 1797, as the country lurched towards revolution, the printing press that produced the paper had been closed down for good by a government that had implemented martial law.

Star Breeze Cruise ship Docks in Belfast
This is the luxurious Star Breeze Cruise Ship that arrived into Belfast docks this morning.
Star Breeze (formerly Seabourn Spirit) is a German-built cruise ship completed in 1989. The luxury liner travels between Europe and Africa, and is owned by Windstar Cruises. In early 2005 she was rated the best small cruise ship by Condé Nast.
The Star Breeze is classified as a small ship, a described as more of a luxury yacht, only holding over 200 passengers. The ship underwent a comprehensive $8.5 million stem-to-stern transformation before her inaugural voyage.
On 5 November 2005 at 5:50 am, while Spirit was underway 115 km off the coast of Somalia with 115 passengers, the ship was attacked by two pirate speedboats launched by a mother ship. Machine guns were fired as well as rocket propelled grenades at the cruise ship, and the remains of an RPG's rocket motor wedged itself in the wall of a room and was disarmed by sailors from USS Gonzalez after the attack. It was reported that a second RPG bounced off the stern. No passengers were injured.

Lyrics :
to find the way in the shadows
just follow the light of the stars
open your soul new horizons
on the wings of the time you will fly
destiny will clean yesterday sorrows
the tears you will forget
to conquer the goals of your life
the easy way is on your mind
like the torch on the sea will guide you
as the men from the old promised land
destiny will clean yesterday sorrows
the tears you will forget
Chorus
can you believe it
behind the morning star
all dreams become reality
on the dawn we are
the truth is in my heart
another sun will shining for us all
when the rays of the sun touch my skin
it`s the proof - that i`m still alive
and the sweet smell of the rose
makes me remember your face
destiny will clean yesterday sorrows
the tears you will forget
Chorus
can you believe it
behind the morning star
all dreams become reality
on the dawn we are
the truth is in my heart
another sun will shining for us all
I will carry on
I will carry on
the winter games are gone
a new breeze cleans the clouds
and again the sun is shining for us all
And when your fears subside
and there`s no place to hide
a star above will guide you on your way
Solo:Rafael
can you believe it
behind the morning star
all dreams become reality
on the dawn we are
the truth is in my heart a
nother sun will shining for us all
I will carry on
I will carry on
I will carry on

A new Belfast Hotel named after/and dedicated to the memory of local hero and footbaling legend George Best has been announced for Belfast city centre. The new George Best Hotel will occupy the iconic and architectually significant Scottish Mutual Building on the corner of Donegall Square South and Bedford Street. It is believed that £15 million will be spent on the required transformation and refurbishment. George's family and friends are fully behind this exciting venture. The Scottish Mutual building was purchased recently by Lawrence Kenwright a Liverpool property developer and his Signiture Living Group.
