Who am I? My name is Sorin - I throw darts at the world map and travel wherever they land.
I visited over 50 countries so far and I am enjoying life.
I am usually doing this with my friend Matt for a show called Travel by Dart, but I also do it myself as lifestyle.
This first dart hit Svalbard, an archipelago close to the North Pole, where they went for three weeks during Christmas and New Year. Inspiration travel.
After that we went to many other locations, such as Russia, Easter Island, Indonesia, etc. Here are the stories:
Svalbard/North Pole episode:

Travel by Dart is a series that combines adventure travel, reality TV and philanthropy. Each episode two friends throw a dart a the worlds map and travel wherever it lands, no matter the remoteness, cost or difficulty.
Covering every continent on the globe, from the sands of Oman to the most remote islands of Polynesia (and beyond), over 12 episodes they uncover the history, cuisine and richness of culture that connects the world together, while seeking one distinct and outside-the-box way to bring help or positive change to the people or the land they visit.
With the goal of seeking to find the common bond of friendship and kindred love that ties the world together, every trip is fuelled entirely from their own resourcefulness.
Here is our official trailer:
With no fancy television studios, production companies or financial help, they film their entire journey step-by- step from beginning to end, proving that travelling to every continent on the globe, living your wildest dreams and getting past the challenges of the mundane work-life is entirely possible if you put your mind to it. Do you have what it takes to travel by dart?

PABLO ESCOBAR TOUR in Medellin
In this video we visit one Pablo Escobar's building, the 7 story tall Monaco building; we also visit his grave site, the prison he built for himself and the place of his eventual death.
At one stage Pablo Escobar was the second wealthiest person in the world. So it is of little surprise that he and his family lived in the penthouse of a seven story building in El Pablado; and left the lower levels of this building vacant. This building was called the Monaco building and was partially destroyed by a car bomb, set outside by the Cali Cartel. This bomb managed to kill 3 of Pablo's security guards and partially deafen his daughter Manuela.
Surprisingly the grave of Pablo Escobar is nothing flashy or elaborate, and I was actually quite disappointed to discover this. At this site Pablo was buried along side his parents and also a security guard called Lemon; who died on the rooftop with Pablo in the shootout with the police. No one really knows if his body is still there or if it was removed and returned. The reason for this mystery is a paternity test, or lack of one in fact. It seems that one of the many woman Pablo Escobar slept with fell pregnant, and so her family wanted some of Pablo's DNA for a paternity test. Pablo's family did not want to share any of their millions of dollars with an illegitimate child, and so had his body removed. But nobody knows to where or if it was eventually returned to lay next to his mother.
The site of where Pablo Escobar was eventually killed by police is now a Spanish school. He was killed on the rooftop while trying to flee once again, along with one of his loyal guards, Lemon. The rooftop he was actually killed on is no more, as an additional level has been added to the building.
The prison Pablo Escobar built for himself is called the cathedral. It included a swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, soccer field, private helicopter pad, private chef and all the luxuries of any 5 star resort.

Abandoned $10,000,000 Mansion of Pablo Escobar (paint balled inside!)
The best gift you can buy for christmas:
So while in Medellin Colombia, we couldn't resist going to explore Pablo Escobar's abandoned mansion. He's a very controversial figure in the country, so we're obviously not trying to glorify him or his history simply documenting his ruins.. and taking the chance to have some fun paint-balling.

A brief overview of my past 2 days in Medellin, Colombia. Went on a Pablo Escobar Tour which was very interesting learning about the areas he grew up in and to see where he was shot. Then went to the incredible city of Guatape and climbed the massive rock. Finally, headed to a coffee farm 6,000 ft. above sea level in the Andes Mountains. Now on to the next country!

Pablo Escobar's Millions Found in Old Drums
Killing Pablo:
Narcos Season 1:
Jose Mariena Cartolos, a 65 year old farmer received a $3000 grant from the Colombian government to start a palm oil plantation on land that has been in his family for over 200 years.
While digging AN irrigation trench for the plantation, Jose discovered several large blue containers. The 65 year old farmer had literally stumbled into one of Pablo Escobar’s money pit’s containing a $600,000,000 million dollars.
Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria was a notorious Colombian drug lord and former leader of the Medellion Cartel. He was known as “The King of Cocaine” who at the height of his career, was worth an estimated $50 billion dollars. It’s rumored that Pablo made so much money on a weekly basis that he spent a $1000.00 a week just on rubber bands used to wrap the money.
The farmer is quite poor and besides the land owns very little. Sadly he won't get to keep any of the money. As the government has seized it for other purposes. Unsurprisingly, the Columbian government is encouraging its people to dig for more of Pablo’s cash as they think there could be a LOT more hidden all over the country.
There’s an old saying about treasure…You can have fame or wealth but never both. What would you choose?
