The Birmingham Qur'an Display at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
The oldest Qur’an’s in the world is on display at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery until 4th Aug 2016. Research has placed these pages close to the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him), who lived around 1400 years ago.
The film is a taster of an event to celebrate the final days of the Qur’an’s display. Curated by Mohammed Ali of Soul City Arts, it featured young community voices, sounds and visuals in an immersive performance.
