Sexy and alive, this beautiful city gets under your skin. The city can be just called 'RIO'. This is one of the most famous metropolis in Latin America and it's well known for its cultural offerings including the Bossanova. Inhabitants of Rio De Janiero are called CARIOCAS. Rio its huge and beautiful. It may look like a real concrete jungle over a real jungle. This lovely city combines faded European grandeur with Latin passion.

It seems that the name 'Copacabana' may be derived from 'kota kahuana,, meaning view of the lake. Pedra do Arpoador: the Arpoador beach is located between the Copacabana Fort and the corner of Francisco Otaviano St. and Vieira Souto St. in Ipanema. The place is famous for its rock called Pedra do Arpoador. Many people go to the place to enjoy the sea views, to hang out with friends, or to see the sunset. Near the Arpoador rock, there is the Devil's Beach or Praia do Diabo, which is a bit hidden. Many surfers choose Arpoador Beach and Diabo Beach because their waves are higher than other beaches and therefore better for surfing.

Bonito, Mother Nature's Playground - Travel Deeper Brazil (Ep. 11)
Bonito, Brazil - presents a weekend in the beautiful natural playground of Bonito, Brazil.
When I asked Brazilian friends on places I should visit while traveling in southwestern Brazil, the overwhelming response was always Bonito.
The small town of just over 17,000 people is tucked away in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul and is one of the most popular Brazilian tourist destinations in the region.
Famous for its abundance of natural beauty, including wildlife, waterfalls and crystal-clear rivers, Bonito, is one of the best outdoor adventure spots I've ever visited.
On day one I rented a bike from town and road through the countryside to two different eco parks, Porto da Ilha and Balneário do sol. Freshwater pools connecting to small waterfalls and numerous activities makes these spots the perfect relaxing day trip.
That evening I ventured over to the Brazilian Rodeo at the Clubes de Laço (lasso club) just outside Bonito to experience a different aspect of Brazilian culture.
The next morning I drove over to Recanto Ecologico Rio da Prata (The Silver River Ecological Reserve) to snorkel the beautiful transparent water teaming with aquatic life.
From there we went to Buraco das Araras (Sinkhole of the Macaws) to witness hundreds of Macaws and other exotic birds fly around the giant redrock hole in the ground.
That night I experienced the quiet and lovely downtown Bonito and drank some locally brewed cachaca at the popular Taboa.
Needless to say, it was a great weekend in Bonito, Brazil and I can't wait to come back again soon.

Other top things to do in Bonito that I missed: Abismo Anhumas, Lagoa Misteriosa, Boca da Onca Waterfall, Aquario Natural, Rio do Peixe, Rio Sucuri, Gruta do Lago Azul and Parque das Cachoeiras to name a few.

Travel video about destination Brazil.
Brazil is a country of both the superlative and also amazing contrast, with dynamic metropolises, cultural centres and untouched nature. It is the largest country on the South American Continent. We begin our journey in Rio De Janeiro, the secret capital of Brazil, a veritable firework display of unashamed joie de vivre, football, samba and religion. The focal point of today’s Rio is the monumental glass cone of the Catedral Metropolitana that measures eighty metres high and looks like a Mexican pyramid. The Rua Do Ouvidor, with its elegant old buildings and splendid shops, is a reminder of the city’s historical and commercial importance. Portuguese settlers founded the city and sugar cane and gold made Rio’s colonial rulers extremely rich. In former times the coastal towns were protected by fortresses and canons. Paraty was one of those romantic locations, south of Rio on the Costa Verde, a gem dating back to Brazil’s colonial times. Around five hundred kilometres north of Rio and deep within the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, is a most remarkable place. Ouro Preto was discovered at the end of the seventeenth century by Portuguese gold prospectors who discovered ‘black gold’ that changed colour due to its iron content. São Paulo is one of the mega cities of the twenty first century and with a population of twenty million it is the economic heart of Brazil. The railway helped to transport cotton and later coffee, and its large station, with British-designed clock tower, became an important symbol. Brazil is synonymous with sunshine, samba and exotic nature, a dream destination full of both adventure and constant fun!

Pantanal - Wildlife Adventure in Brazil Full HD
A short video filmed during our visit the Pantanal in Brazil. Starting from Cuiaba (Mato Grosso) we took the Transpantareira Highway first to Pouso Alegre Lodge. Then we continued our way to Porto Jofre before taking a boat to Southwild's Flotel. We spent a week on the rivers near and far from the flotel before heading back north on the Transpantaneira. We spent a couple of days at Southwild's Fazenda Santa Tereza before returning to Cuiaba and heading home.
During our stay we saw the main big cats - jaguars, giant river otters, capybaras, caimans, anteaters, many birds: hyacinth macaws, toucans, hawks, owls, kingfishers, caracaras, aracaris, a helmeted manakin, a potoo, a curassow, as well as a tapir with a baby, an aguti, and many others!
Thanks to our wonderful guides Zaine Mohamed Dib and Marcos Ardevino, and Brazil Nature Tours.
The video was filmed using a Canon 70D and 100-400 IS II lens mounted on a Uniqball UBH35 ballhead.

Wildlife Photography in the Pantanal of Brazil
To see the wildlife photos from the Pantanal visit my blog here:
I went into the Brazilian Pantanal in search of wildlife this week. In particular, I was looking for jaguars which are very elusive anywhere else on the planet. However, in this part of the Pantanal, and this time of year, jaguars are actually really commonly spotted. My guide, in fact said that we'd have about a 50/50 chance of seeing a jaguar. The day before I went, a group from the same company I went with (EcoVerde Tours: saw 3 jaguars. Unfortunately for me, I didn't see any.
I did, however, see a tonne of wildlife in the Pantanal. We saw an ocelot as well which is amazing and even more rare than a Jaguar. Although, of course, I didn't capture it on camera.
So, I'm a little bit disappointed that I didn't get a jaguar, but it just gives me more reason to come back with a longer lens.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the Pantanal, it was absolutely wonderful to visit.
Next, I'm off to some other cool destinations in Brazil, so stay tuned!

Rio Carnaval - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2019)
#RioCarnaval #Brazil #RioDeJaneiro
Last February/March I crossed off a bucket list experience, attending the famous Carnaval celebration in Rio de Janeiro. With non-stop dancing, parties and music it was something unlike anything I had been apart of. Unfortunately, didn't have my camera out much due to the nature of the parties, I also didn't want to get my camera stolen so I wasn't able to capture as much as I wanted.
I will say if I hadn't known any Brazilians, my friend and I would have been absolutely lost. Many of the best blocos aka street parties don't give out info until the night before or day of, so if you're a foreigner and don't have access to the info you will miss out on the best events. Something no one had warned us about as well was how expensive the parties at night were, the blocos/street parties are free but many of the parties at night have special guests or artists and those all cost a decent amount of money.
Number one piece of advice, either go with a good group of people or find a good group of people there, at the end of the day that's what will result in you having the most fun.

Rio de Janeiro - A sightseeing tour through this city of dreams
Rio de Janeiro is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Statue of Christ, the Sugarloaf Mountain and the dream beaches Copacabana and Ipanema are impressive sights. Good food, beautiful beaches, wonderful viewpoints and friendly people make a visit to an unforgettable experience.
An absolute must is the climb by railway to the famous statue of Christ Cristo Redentor on Corcovado mountain with its beautiful view of the city.
The visit over two stages with the cable car to the Sugar Loaf Pão de Açúcar belongs to every sightseeing. You are rewarded with a magnificent view of the sea side of this beautiful city.
The Parque Nacional da Tijuca is the largest urban rainforest. You can enjoy a pleasant silence in this natural oasis near the everlasting noise of Rio.
From the observation point of Vista Chinesa you have a beautiful view to the two landmarks of Rio, the statue of Christ and the Sugarloaf.
The Botanical Garden Jardim Botânico was founded in 1809 by Dom João VI. It's a very beautiful tropical park.
Rio is famous for its city beaches. Ipanema and Copacabana are arguing who is the best. But both beaches are incredibly beautiful. Until late in the evening the beaches and promenades are one of the most popular places to meet each other.
