The Nelson Market
Today I am going to buy both my daughters a Christmas treat at the Nelson Market. Every Saturday at the Montgomery square in the heart of Nelson in the South Island of NZ from 8 am to 1 pm you will find the Nelson Market.
The Nelson Market is famous for its longevity and high quality of its stalls. For almost 40 years, market owner Nita Knight has worked hard to create a showcase of the best that the Nelson region has to offer in arts, crafts and produce. The market is enhanced these days with a wide variety of food carts, making it a wonderful place to meet friends and share brunch or lunch while checking out the array of goods on offer at this truly iconic market.

Nelson New Zealand - Sunday Market
All too soon it's time to move on and we take the long drive to Nelson. We arrive here on Saturday late afternoon, and the approach to the city is dotted along the coast with properties that sit comfortably within the hills. The weather was a little inclement so we decide to check in to the accommodation before we find something for dinner. Our first impression of Nelson is not what we were expecting, it's more modern than we thought it would be with a little dated civic appearance. We think it reminds us of a town close to where we live and this feels a tad disappointing. We've also chosen to stay one night in the highest rated BBH hostel in Nelson, so hope of a little comfort. The hostel is run by a young English guy called Anthony whose continuous smile, ensures you can't feel disappointed for long. His place is friendly and busy but a little full on and dare I say it 'young' for us. Boy do I feel old saying that but it's true! Anyway we fit our 30 something family into this little hip backpackers the best we can and make the most of it and get a quiet nights sleep.

Nelson Cathedral church (Things to do In Nelson NZ)
So this day off we went to Nelson Cathedral Church - Also called christ church Cathedral based in a town of Nelson in NewZealand.
We visited Christ church cathedral during the Christmas season which is still going on.It was decorated with full of lights, those Christmas songs (carols) going on.
This church is so beautiful and the place nearby. No doubt NewZealand is so beautiful and should be on go list for everyone.
We felt so amazed by visiting the church and nearby places and would love to do more videos while we are in NewZealand.

Drive through Nelson, New Zealand
This is the view from the passenger side of my car, driving from home to the grocery, through the middle of town on a Sunday afternoon. If you've ever thought of visiting the area, this might give you an idea about what the streets and storefronts look like, along with Sunday traffic. Notice the ocean off to the left at the beginning (with Haulashore Island) -- as well as the wonderful bright blue sky.
The video was captured with a GoPro Hero 4 at 1080p 30fps. The camera was hand-held outside the window. No narration or other voice, just wind and car noise.
