Life in Japan 1: Wandering in Niigata
Hello Everyone, Well I have up and done it. I moved to Japan. I have been here almost two weeks, but I have spent most of my time locked away in orientation with my company. Today is the first day I have had free and I decided I needed to go on a long leisurely stroll over to my neighboring town. I encounter lots of nature, water fowl, and some really nice locals. I also end up at on of the smallest and unsecured train stations I have encounters. There is also a small shrine in there. This is a Vlog/ on the Go segment, and I hope to have many more in the future. If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to ask, and please don’t hesitate to like, comment, subscribe, or share the video if you enjoyed it and would like to see more.
Thanks for watching, Theresa

水の声-Water Whisper
This work is located in the front yard Niitsu, Niigata City Art Museum. This is art work with Suikinkutsu.
The work holds water in the roof, and light of the sun through the water shines from a window.
When wind blows, water moves, and the indoor light shakes.
One drop of water drips down from a ceiling in the water koto cave.
The water koto cave tells a voice of beautiful water.
It is a quiet space for encounter with water. This space can also take advantage of tea.
