The wait is finally over! The new Oakes market tried to quietly open Tuesday December 18th, 2019. The 'Disneyland of Food Markets is now open. After building anticipation for five years, Oakes Farms opened its Seed to Table Market on Tuesday at Livingston and Immokalee roads in North Naples. The 74,000-square-foot specialty grocery store and culinary destination will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 4835 Immokalee Road.
The store is packed with a variety of retail service departments, chopped up into dozens of stations as customers make their way through an adventure in shopping.
Pastries. Homemade Candy. Smoothies. Children's playground. Cafe. A major wine selection. Flowers. Aquarium. Brick Pizza Oven. Tacos. Fresh Pasta. Fresh Baked Bread. Six-hundred gallons of lobster. Giant fish hanging from on high.
Tacos, sandwiches and salads are some of the many hot and cold foods available to eat at the new Seed to Table Market. All kinds of baked goods from the Bakery.
A walk-up window outside the front of the store is available to purchase ice cream treats and coffee drinks. The Let Us Cut It station has all kinds of fresh fruits and veggies ready to eat

Florida’s agriculture and row crop farming plays a vital role in Florida’s economy and supplies the nation with high-quality vegetables and fruits. Water source comes from two 16-inch wells and one 12-inch well with permits that do not expire until 2020. For the future, there is an existing permit for a third 16-inch well.
The farm includes an extensive irrigation system consisting of 1,047 +/- acres of piped irrigation for farmland and 165 +/- acres of Microjet irrigation for citrus.
The entire tract has perimeter fencing, interior cross-fencing, as well as an equipment barn and screen shelter.

Driving on Collier Boulevard and Interstate 75 in Naples, Florida
Once 24 miles (39 km) long, State Road 951 (SR 951), locally known as Collier Boulevard, is a 7-mile-long (11 km) north–south divided highway that extends from the south end of the Judge S.S. Jolley Bridge in Marco Island to the Tamiami Trail (US 41/SR 90) near Naples Manor, along with a short 1⁄2 mile (0.80 km) piece between SR 84 and I-75.
Teen dies after fight outside middle school
A 13-year old girl from Attucks Middle School ended up on life support at Texas Children's Hospital two days after a fight off campus.
Kashala Francis' mother, Mamie Jackson, says her daughter told her she was attacked by two girls after school on Thursday, and that another girl later jumped in and kicked her in the head.
Jackson says when her daughter returned home Thursday afternoon, she had a bruise on her face, but insisted she was okay.

Dead Mall: Crystal River Mall - Crystal River, Florida
A video of the Crystal River Mall in Crystal River, Florida. Sorry about the low quality video, I was trying not to make it obvious that I was filming.
The Crystal River Mall opened in October of 1990. The original anchors were Belk-Lindsey, Sears, and Kmart. J.C. Penney was added in 1992 and a Regal movie theater was added in 1998. Sears closed in 2012, J.C. Penney closed in 2013, Belk closed in 2014, and Kmart closed in March 2017. The mall is currently anchored by Rural King that opened in the vacated Sears building in 2014. It was a really interesting mall, but a relatively small one. The food court is located in the center of the mall and the roof is made out of fabric, which was unique. When I was there, it seemed like there was some construction taking place, so I believe they are trying to revitalize the mall, which would be fantastic because it is such a beautiful and interesting building! I plan to re-visit the Crystal River Mall and film a better video.
