For the first time in DNB History, RAM played host at the mighty Old Fire Station @ Bournemouth on Oct 8th 2011. What an amazing night with Aiden's fans!
The weather did not please his audiences since it was raining really hard from the morning yesterday. Despite the rainy and extremely windy weather, hundreds of his fans still excited queueing for his concert in front of the Old FireStation in Bournemouth, England.
Aiden Grimshaw embarked on his first ever UK headline tour this September in support of his debut album Misty Eye which features the single Is This Love.
The concert was opened by Seye, Opening Artist, who has also launched in newest single named Mexicana Bounce in last 3 weeks. He sang 5 songs in a row which all received encouragement from the audiences, especially a cover of We are young (by Fun.) and two of his own songs: J.O.A.N.N.A and Get back to Jennifer.
Aiden only appeared around 21:15 in really loud sounds, shouting his name, by his fans. He continuously sang all of songs in his debut album, Misty Eye, without any long resting (I was kind of impressed since most of his songs are really up-tempo and high). He also spent time to chat with his fans and shared with them about his inspirations.
The theme of the stage was dark blue and green and Aiden, of course, was like a vampire in the dark. The concert ended with Chokehold, my favourite song of the night except his two single which were already released Is this love and Curtain Call.
