Driving Downtown - Las Vegas 4K - USA
Driving Downtown - Las Vegas Nevada USA - Episode 47.
Starting Point: Las Vegas Boulevard .
Las Vegas, officially the City of Las Vegas and often known simply as Vegas, is the 28th-most populated city in the United States, the most populated city in the state of Nevada, and the county seat of Clark County. The city anchors the Las Vegas Valley metropolitan area and is the largest city within the greater Mojave Desert. Las Vegas is an internationally renowned major resort city known primarily for its gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, and nightlife. It is the leading financial, commercial, and cultural center for Nevada.
The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World, and is famous for its mega casino–hotels and associated activities. It is a top three destination in the United States for business conventions and a global leader in the hospitality industry, claiming more AAA Five Diamond hotels than any city in the world. Today, Las Vegas annually ranks as one of the world's most visited tourist destinations. The city's tolerance for numerous forms of adult entertainment earned it the title of Sin City, and has made Las Vegas a popular setting for literature, films, television programs, and music videos.
Las Vegas was settled in 1905 and officially incorporated in 1911. At the close of the 20th century, it was the most populated American city founded within that century (a similar distinction earned by Chicago in the 1800s). Population growth has accelerated since the 1960s, and between 1990 and 2000 the population nearly doubled, increasing by 85.2%. Rapid growth has continued into the 21st century, and according to a 2013 estimate, the population is 603,488 with a regional population of 2,027,828.
Las Vegas is often used to describe areas beyond official city limits—especially the areas on and near the Las Vegas Strip, which is actually located within the unincorporated communities of Paradise, Winchester, and Enterprise.
Las Vegas Strip
The Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard in Clark County, Nevada, known for its concentration of resort hotels and casinos. The Strip is approximately 4.2 miles (6.8 km) in length, located immediately south of the Las Vegas city limits in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester. However, the Strip is often referred to as being in Las Vegas. Most of the Strip has been designated an All-American Road, and is considered a scenic route at night. Many of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world are located on the Las Vegas Strip. Fourteen of the world's 25 largest hotels by room count are on the Strip, with a total of over 62,000 rooms.
One of the most visible aspects of Las Vegas' cityscape is its use of dramatic architecture and lights. The rapidly evolving skyline and constant modernization of hotels, casinos, restaurants, residential high-rises, and entertainment offerings on the Strip, have established it as one of the most popular destinations for tourists in the United States, and the world.

TRIP REPORT | JetSuiteX - ERJ 135 - Burbank (BUR) to Las Vegas (LAS) | Economy
Welcome to another trip report! On June 18th, I decided to create a special trip report onboard JetSuiteX.
JetSuiteX is a public charter air carrier that sells tickets for flights between California, Montana, and Nevada in the United States. JetSuiteX flights depart from private jet terminals, separate from the terminals used by traditional airlines.
Pulling into JetSuiteX's temporary terminal, I wasn't impressed. It was basically a trailer with couches and a desk. They offered free WiFi and snacks, but the overall feel was worse than an actual terminal. Now this airline operates under the FAA Part 135 guideline, meaning that no TSA security is required. JetSuiteX advertised the fact that you can show up 15 minutes before departure.
When we boarded the plane, my opinion quickly changed. To put it lightly, it was amazing. The seats were very comfortable, the legroom was great, and overall it reminded me of NetJets (private jet). After a stunning takeoff over the greater Los Angeles area, there was a small service of drinks and snacks. Of course, the drinks were in glass cups!
If you ever get the opportunity to fly on JetSuiteX, I would definitely recommend it! Cheap ticket & amazing experience! Now that is hard to find these days.
Hope you enjoy!
Airline: JetSuiteX
Aircraft: Embraer ERJ-135LR (N254JX)
Seat: 10A (Economy)
Flight Number: XE107
Route: BUR to LAS
Flight Time: 41 minutes
