Foot Golf Promotional Film
If you've not heard of FootGolf before, it's basically a combination of golf and football and is played on a course very similar to golf.
It's all about precision and power, judging the length to the football-sized holes and avoiding the obstacles of bunkers, trees, water and hills along the way. And similar to golf, the player who plays the 9 or 18 holes with the fewest shots wins.
Originating in the Netherlands, the sport is attracting a lot of attention at the moment in over 30 countries around the world, and we filmed at one of the newest courses to open, an all weather course in Hull. The film features an interview with Hull City legend, Andy Dawson.

Cottingham is a large village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England with average affluence. It lies just north-west of the city of Kingston upon Hull, and 3.5 miles from the city centre. Cottingham is part of the Hull urban area, functioning as a suburb. With a parish population of over 17,000 in 2011, Cottingham is one of the villages claiming to be the largest village in England.
According to one etymology, Cottingham is thought to derive from both British and Saxon root words: Cot from Ket, relating to the deity Ceridwen; ing a water meadow; and ham meaning home; the name corresponding to habitation in the water meadows of Ket. The name has also been suggested to derive from a man's name Cotta plus -inga- (OE belonging to/named after) and ham; corresponding to habitation of cotta's people. Archaic spellings include Cotingeham (Domesday, 1086), and Cotingham (Charter, 1156; John Leland, 1770).
Cottingham parish church, dedicated to St Mary the Virgin, was built between 1272 and 1370; it is a large cruciform stone-built church in a mixture of the decorated and perpendicular Gothic styles. By the 1850s Cottingham was a substantial village, with housing along its main streets of Northgate, Hallgate, King Street, Newgate Street, South Street, and Thwaite Street.
The approximate boundaries of the modern civil parish of Cottingham are the A164 Beverley to Humber Bridge bypass to the west and Kingston upon Hull to the east, in particular the edges of Orchard Park estate and North Hull Estate. The southern boundary is in fields between the village and Willerby and Hull. The southern half of the parish consists mostly of the town of Cottingham, as well as Castle Hill Hospital. Historically, Cottingham was noted for its springs: ones to the north of the town formed a north to south riverlet through the town, that drove Snuff Mill; whilst a large and vigorous gypsey existed at Keldgate.
The modern village has two main shopping streets, Hallgate and King Street which cross each other: Hallgate runs east-west from the medieval church to triangular West Green, near the location of the former Baynard Castle; King Street runs north-south from Northgate to Newgate, Market Green (now a car park) is on the southern half of King Street, on the west side, and is the location of the council offices, library and civic hall.
Cottingham is served by Cottingham railway station that provides an intermediate stop between Hull and Beverley on the Yorkshire Coast Line to Scarborough. Bus services are provided by Stagecoach Hull and East Yorkshire Motor Services. Cottingham was the birthplace of the 1940s and 1950s female boxing champion Barbara Buttrick, the first female boxer to have her fight broadcast on national television.

England won’t be entirely cigarette free until after 2050, new research suggests. Some areas will go ‘smoke free’ sooner than others as experts call for more to be done to help smokers kick the habit. Bristol, Wokingham and York to be the first parts of England to go smoke free in mid 2020s but people in North Lincolnshire, Derby and Cheshire are expected to still be smoking beyond 2050. The research, conducted by Frontier Economics and commissioned by Philip Morris Limited, found major divides in the predicted rate of decline in different parts of the country, but predicts nearly a quarter of England will have stopped smoking before 2030. Deprived areas have a higher rate of smokers, the study found, with the three areas with the highest rates of smoking Kingston upon Hull, Blackpool and North Lincolnshire. The 10 local authorities with latest 'last smoke' dates North Lincolnshire: After 2050 Derby: After 2050 Cheshire East: After 2050 Bedford: After 2050 Central Bedfordshire: After 2050 North Yorkshire: After 2050 Hampshire: After 2050 Shropshire: After 2050 Bath & North East Somerset: After 2050 Southampton: 2049 The 10 local authorities with earliest 'last smoke' dates City of Bristol: 2024 Wokingham: 2026 York: 2026 East Riding of Yorkshire: 2027 Blackburn with Darwen: 2027 Portsmouth: 2027 Reading: 2027 Buckinghamshire: 2028 Bournemouth: 2028 Milton Keynes: 2028 Researchers suggest the number of smokers using NHS Stop Smoking services and switching to e-cigarettes needs to increase if communities are to go smoke free faster. Mark MacGregor, UK Corporate Affairs Director of PML, said: ‘Our business is committed to going smoke free as fast as possible and ultimately stopping selling cigarettes altogether. What this research reveals is the huge variations in the decline in smoking in different parts of the country. Prince William launching project to improve mental health at work ‘We want to play our part in working with local businesses, retailers and councils in the areas with highest smoking rates. ‘It is not going to be easy getting smokers in these areas to stop. ‘One of the keys to success will be ensuring they understand that there are more alternative options than ever that can help them give up cigarettes for good.’ The new figures are detailed on a website launched by PML – lastsmoke.co.uk – which presents ONS data for postcode areas through an interactive tool. The Last Smoke website also includes other proposals that could accelerate the end of cigarettes in the country. These include more independent research into smoking alternatives, targeted government campaigns through school and social media to stop smoking in the first place and tackling the trade in illicit cigarettes by taking tougher action against criminal gangs. Last cigarette smoked in England will be put out in 2050, scientists claim
The last cigarette to be smoked in England will be in Derby by 2050, researchers have predicted.
According to a new report, if the current decline in smoking continues, then today’s 7.4 million smokers will reduce to zero in 30 years.
Increased use of NHS services to help people quit, the popularity of e-cigarettes and heated tobacco account for the decline, but Public Health England said vaping should be tried by more smokers to further reduce rates, the Mirror reported.
'Regular e-cigarette use is plateauing. There is an opportunity to further reduce the harms caused by tobacco by encouraging more smokers to try vaping,' the organisation said.
And they predict Bristol will become the first city to quit by having no smokers after 2024, followed by York and Wokingham, Berkshire, in 2026.
The predictions in the study, commissioned by tobacco firm Philip Morris and conducted by analysts Frontier Economics, were based on employment, income, education and health data.
In 1990, almost a third of British adults smoked, but that figure has halved to around 15 per cent since then.
Philip Morris's increasing focus on smoke-free products signals the firm's aim to stop producing cigarettes altogether.
Director of Corporate Affairs Mark MacGregor said: 'There are more alternative options than ever to help people give up cigarettes for good.'
The news comes despite the fact that one in five people in deprived areas are still smokers.
Around 22 per cent of people in Kingston upon Hull, Blackpool and North Lincolnshire still light up.
Researchers have previously said that the decision to remove cigarettes from display in shops played an 'important role in reducing child smokers'.
The UK Government made it illegal to have cigarettes on show on the shelf in 2015 in a crackdown on smoking.
And scientists then found that the number of children who have bought cigarettes from a shop since the ban has dropped by 17 per cent.
Researchers from Imperial College London quizzed 18,000 children over how often they smoke and where they get cigarettes from.
Just 40 per cent of children who smoked in 2016 bought their cigarettes in shops – down from 57 per cent in 2010, the study showed.
