BLACK 47 is an action film set during the Great Irish Famine and stars Hugo Weaving (Hacksaw Ridge, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix) and Jim Broadbent, (Oscar®winner for Iris) and the prolific Irish screen and stage actor Stephen Rea (The Crying Game, Michael Collins). Joining them are rising international actors James Frencheville (Animal Kingdom, The Drop) and Freddie Fox (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) along with a strong young Irish cast including Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk, The Killing of a Sacred Deer), Moe Dunford (Michael Inside, Patrick’s Day) and Sarah Greene (Noble, Penny Dreadful).
It’s 1847 and Ireland is in the grip of the Great Famine that has ravaged the country for two long years. Feeney, a hardened Irish Ranger who has been fighting for the British Army abroad, abandons his post to return home and reunite with his family. He’s seen more than his share of horrors, but nothing prepares him for the famine’s hopeless destruction of his homeland that has brutalised his people and where there seems to be no law and order. He discovers his mother starved to death and his brother hanged by the brutal hand of the English. With little else to live for, he sets a destructive path to avenge his family.
Directed by Lance Daly.

Adrian Dunbar plays Brendan Behan in this warm and funny drama of an Irish national treasure. This Lyric Theatre Belfast production opened the Naughton Studio in 2011 to great acclaim and is being revived for an international tour, starting at the Acorn Theatre in New York for a limited run.
It is 1960s New York in legendary bohemian bolt hole, The Chelsea Hotel. Arthur Miller is just across the hall and the symphony of 24th Street is rising up and in through the open window of Brendan Behan's room. He is broke, hung over and way past the delivery date of his latest book, the first line of which he is yet to write. He was told to stop drinking or he'd be dead in six months -- that was two years ago.
Today is not going well. His mistress keeps ringing, the bills aren't paid and a wire arrives from Dublin with the kind of news that's guaranteed to put his blood pressure through the roof...

Pig Business in Northern Ireland
We need a ban on factory farming! Take action today:
More about the film....
A public outcry has brought attention to plans for a huge, 40,000 pig factory farm near Limavady, in the picturesque landscape of Lough Foyle. We are calling on David Small (Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Environment Agency) for an immediate ban on the building of factory farms! Please sign the petition today.
If the Limavady pig factory is built, at any one time, up to 40,000 pigs would be confined indoors in overcrowded, barren concrete pens. Antibiotics are commonly overused in factory farms just to keep the pigs alive in such terrible conditions. These pens become a breeding ground for antibiotic resistant bacteria that can pass from pigs to humans. Neighbours will have to suffer the stench of 66,000 tonnes of faeces (in the form of liquid slurry) being spread on surrounding fields every year - close to houses, schools and public footpaths.
There has been an alarming 26% rise in intensive US-style factory farms in the UK since 2011 - whilst simultaneously the number of smaller, high welfare farms has drastically declined . In Northern Ireland alone, permissions are currently being sought for 14 further pig factories, so stopping the Limavady proposal would potentially close the sluice gate to further applications.
This spike in pig farm applications was caused by inflated subsidies for Anaerobic Digesters, which generate electricity from pig waste. The waste slurry from this process still contains high levels of ammonia which cause respiratory problems in humans and pollutes sensitive natural habitats. According to the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, 98% of ‘Special Areas of Conservation’ have already exceeded the critical threshold for ammonia at which ecological damage occurs. All UK taxpayers will have to pay the cost if Northern Ireland is fined for breaking the ‘Nitrogen Directive’.
James Orr, director of Friends of the Earth Northern Ireland, says: “Northern Ireland is already plagued by shocking levels of ammonia emissions. Releasing further ammonia from pig slurry into Northern Ireland’s ecosystems will lead to environmental disaster. Intensive agriculture and the associated problems with a massive increase in pig slurry cannot be the path to a healthy future for Northern Ireland.”
Tracy Worcester, director of Farms Not Factories, says: “Manure from pigs kept at lower densities in a more natural environment is an invaluable fertiliser, not a toxic pollutant. We can use the power of our purse to only buy from real farms, not animal factories. When buying pork, look for the high welfare labels Outdoor Bred, RSPCA Assured, Free Range or, best of all, Organic. Find out how to boycott pork from factory farms by reading at our Guide to Labels & Supermarkets.”

The Truth About the Titanic Has Been Revealed
Recent findings reveal the truth that has been buried for over one hundred years. Scientists have debunked the theory that the cause of the Titanic sinking was an iceberg. Why did Titanic sink? What's the real cause of the Titanic crash?
HOW TITANIC SANK
On April 14th, 1912 at 11:40 p.m. RMS Titanic had a terrible accident that led to its ultimate demise 3 hours later. By 2:20 a.m. in the early morning of April 15th, the biggest ship of its time had completely disappeared under the ice-cold surface of the Atlantic Ocean. The Titanic took more than 1,500 lives with it as it sank to its watery grave.
TITANIC MYSTERY
The cause of this horrible disaster leading to so many deaths was an iceberg the ship crashed into. Or so we’ve always been told... But scientists’ most recent findings have debunked this theory. In this video, we’ll tell you the whole truth that has been buried for over one hundred years.

How Titanic was made 1:00
The real cause of the catastrophe 3:04
The interior of the Titanic 5:10
Another tragic coincidence 6:20
Another criminal negligence: the lifeboats 7:23
Some people also blame Captain Smith 8:25
HOW TITANIC WAS MADE
The Titanic had 4 massive smokestacks. Each of them weighed 60 tons, and they extended 81.5 feet above the deck. Such an impressive height was necessary to avoid covering the passengers in 100 tons of soot blown off daily. The smokestacks were placed at a 30° angle to look even more astonishing and imposing.
No less awe-inspiring was the cost of the ship. Its construction demanded $7,500,000. If we take into account modern exchange rates and inflation, in 2016 they would be paying $166,000,000. Surprisingly, it would turn out cheaper than the production of the world-famous movie Titanic in 1997, which cost $200,000,000!
Criminal negligence, tragic and unfortunate chain of coincidences, fire or ice: whatever it was, it took the lives of hundreds of people and still keeps the minds of scientists busy to this day. What theory about the catastrophe do you believe? Share your opinion in the comments below!

“Zombie Drug” - The Truth About Flakka
A few years ago, a new synthetic drug called Flakka appeared in Florida. It wasn’t long before viral videos and sensationalized news reports of alleged Flakka overdoses started to spread across the internet, and people began comparing its effects to that of a zombie outbreak. One supposed incident involved a person who allegedly ate off a homeless man’s face on the side of a highway. The drug’s effects are often compared to that of bath salts, and include hallucinations, “superhuman strength, and a state of “excited delirium” that is credited with driving the lunatic actions of some users.
However, Flakka can be easily altered or changed, and reports have emerged that its recent incarnation has surfaced under a slightly new chemical—and just as dangerous—structure. VICE’s Matt Shea travels to Florida to meet both users and distributors to discover what’s really behind this zombie drug.

Happy St Patrick's Day 2016 With Six-Year-Old And Two-Year-Old!
Please LIKE and SHARE our video SUBSCRIBE to our channel, and leave a COMMENT below! We post videos regularly. This clip features our family celebrating St. Patrick's Day! Gwen was filming behind the camera and isn't seen on video as she was sick that day. Our sons Conal and Luke really enjoyed what the leprechauns brought: silly shamrock glasses, Mountain Dew, and rainbow skittles in mugs. Jess also gave the boys green Peeps marshmellow candy. The window clings of the leprechaun, gold coins, shamrocks and IRISH, along with frogs on lily pads and flowers helped to decorate the house along with our shamrock wreath, and Happy St. Patrick's Day tablecloth. We love celebrating our Irish heritage with this holiday. Our toddler, Luke refused to wear anything green besides his Irish Prince bib. Cory explains the Irish tradition of knocking on wood. (I apologize for the Scottish bag pipes, my husband told me I got the bag pipes wrong --I was looking for Irish ones-- after I posted the video).
ReptiFamily Production
We are a family of vloggers. Cory worked at a zoo for a number of years and now we have a mini zoo of our own. He does videos on how to care for reptiles and amphibians. Gwendolyn loves to bake and does videos on singing, and playing the flute. Our six-year-old son, Conal loves to play video games and make up songs. He loves making play dough surprise videos, science experiments, and trips to Build-A-Bear Workshop and the LEGO store. We are in the process of starting his gaming channel. Our two-year-old son, Luke loves to eat and explore. We have a playlist on this channel dedicated to his development called, Baby Eats and are in the process of getting all his developmental videos uploaded.
Pets we currently have are: 2 Russian Tortoises named Onia and Draggo, 3 Red-Eared Slider Turtles named Remy, Atlas, and Demeter, 4 Dendrobates leucomelas--also known as Yellow-Banded Poison Dart Frogs named Mr. T., Richard, Spots, and Bars, 1 Pueblan Milk Snake named Taos, 1 Red Bearded Dragon named Klauth, 1 Hermit Crab named Bane, 1 Axolotl named Michael Pinky, and 1 Tabby Cat named Xander.
