Russia: Cute liger cub finds a home in a travelling zoo
A very rare 'liger' - a crossbread of a tiger and a lion - was shown to the public at a travelling zoo, as it stopped off in the Rostov Region on Friday.
The two-month old liger, named Tsar, was born in the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky from a lion named Caesar and a tigress named Princess.
Zoo Director Erik Ayrapetyan explained that this does not occur in the wild, as one of the animals lives in Africa while the other one in the jungle and forest.
The liger is a hybrid of a male lion and female tiger and it is believed to be among the largest, if not the single largest cat in the world. They can reach up to almost four metres (13ft) in length and weigh up to 300 kg (661.3 lbs) in weight.
SOT, Erik Ayrapetyan, director of the travelling zoo (Russian): This does not occur in the wild, as one of them lives in Africa while the other one in the jungle and forest. There were cases in zoos and some private owners. I checked on the internet, there are only 23 of them in the world.

3)Buffy (2010–present)
Buffy, a caramel and white Bulgarian male 10-week-old shepherd Karakachan dog, was given to President Vladimir Putin during a visit to Bulgaria in November 2010.
4)Konni (1999–2014)
Konni, (1999–2014) was a female black Labrador Retriever. Konni was born in 1999 and presented to Putin in December 2000. Konni was often seen at the President's side, and was sometimes allowed to attend meetings when Putin greeted world leaders during their visits to Russia.
Putin was being updated on the progress of the Russian Global Navigation Satellite System GLONASS in 2007, when he inquired as to whether he would be able to buy a device hooked into GLONASS that would allow him to keep track of his dog, Konni. The collar was demonstrated on Konni on 17 October 2008, thus making Konni the first recipient of a GLONASS-enabled pet collar.

Petting Zoo in Russia is Different

A petting zoo is a farm that is generally accessible to the public. At the petting zoo are kept many different farm animals in generally low numbers. The most loved animals, goats, sheep, horses, cows, geese, rabbits, pigs, chickens, ducks and many other (farm) animals. The petting zoo is especially equipped for children (and adults) to become acquainted with the farm animals.
Because of this history, the petting zoos are very diverse. The petting zoo is often owned by the municipality, a foundation or association or a healthcare facility. Sometimes it happens that a petting zoo also features exotic animals. When more than 10 exotic animals are being shown to the public, should such children according to the zoo Decision on a permit to possess.
Ostriches belong to the order Struthioniformes, also called ratites. Characterized by the absence of keel in the sternum. Other birds of this order are the emu, the ostrich, the kiwi, the cassowary and large extinct birds as Aepyornis. The ostrich belongs, in this order, the family Struthionidae. Domestication and breeding of ostriches can be directed towards the production of meat, skin, feathers and eggs. Based on these productions, ostrich is exploited throughout the world, being an animal that adapts well to different climates. Some producing countries are: South Africa, Namibia, Israel, Australia, United States, Canada, France, Spain, Great Britain, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Ukraine and Russia.
About 90% of wild ostriches live in Africa, south of the line of Ecuador. The ostrich, like all birds, lacks teeth and has little mobility in the language, so it does not make chewing some of what you eat. Take the food with its beak and moves toward the opening of the esophagus. Unlike most birds, ostriches have no crop to store food; on the contrary, their proventriculus and gizzard are longer than those of other birds and in proportion to their bodies, so that's where it will store and ferment everything you eat. In addition, the gizzard of ostriches has a thick wall of highly developed muscle layer.
The start of the ostrich occurs from March or April until October or November, making it seasonal. The male is usually responsible for incubating the eggs at night, and the female. At night, all male ostriches that share territory, alternately exchanged positions incubation optionally having a clueless male that does not find its nest with chicks fatal loss.
The hooves of the reindeer are very broad and by a tension skin far spread apart. In addition, long have dew claws formed. This allows the animals in often rocky or muddy terrain secure footing. Reindeer are among the most northerly living large mammals. They inhabit large parts of northern North America and Eurasia. Even on high arctic islands of Spitsbergen, the Ellesmere Island and Greenland occur reindeer. In order to escape the arctic winter, take the reindeer herds, wherever possible, great hikes, some up to 5000 kilometers - the longest regular migration of land mammals ever.
In northern Canada, the distribution area of reindeer ranges (called caribou) further south, so in the boreal zone. The most widespread was the reindeer in the last ice age; then it came to the Pyrenees and to the present-day Mexican northern border before. With the warming at the end of the last ice age began a habitat shift to the north, where the reindeer was staying in temperate zones far. Probably people were responsible for the disappearance of animals from the temperate zones; However, the stocks were already on the wane.
In the British Isles the reindeer died out around 10,000 years ago. Reindeer are primarily grazers; but in summer they take almost any vegetable diet that they can find. In winter they are covered by snow and ice mostly on reindeer lichen limited, mosses and fungi. The natural enemies of reindeer are wolves, wolverines, lynx and bears. Healthy animals, however, know how to avoid these enemies by running their strength; so the fall predators usually only sick and weakened Rener victim.
It is unknown what people first domesticated reindeer. The use of reindeer spread to about 1000 v. Chr. From Siberia to Scandinavia. The model for this latest domestication of a large mammal apparently delivered to the north farmers from farming or livestock breeding cultures. In northern Europe, which were seeds in this area very successfully.

A Russian zoo in the city of Saransk, named three of its puma cubs after famous Barcelona football stars Leo Messi, Neymar Jr. and Luis Suarez. Footage taken from the Saransk Zoo on Wednesday, shows the three cubs, which may be no match for the sports stars but beat them 3-0 in cuteness.

The big cat eats twice a day with a diet consisting of turkey, beef, a bit of chicken breast and some bones. THIS VIDEO IS A FULL FOOTAGE ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON BEHIND THE CLOSED DOORS !On the World Circus Day VITA(Russian animal rights organization) has released new shocking footage from their undercover investigation of the Big St. Petersburg State Circus publishes investigation Behind the scenes of the circus 2012-2013 We urge you to prevent this trainer to exercise this profession and to punish him for acts of abuse. The trainer MURAD ABDULLAEV must be punished for animal cruelty and banned from practicing this entertainment !about the petition:Artist of Russia MURAD ABDULLAEV was filmed abusing animals in the Moscow Circus. The most terrible is not even blows, as painful to see. The most terrible is the eye look of those poor animals .. and the ►►BROKEN FINGERS due to the violent blows he has received from that scumbag !!!!!
See the picture here ➨:
Recently, the video came out thanks to a Girl-volunteer from VITA she got a job in the circus as a animal cleaner and she put there a hidden camera...! please watch also (part.2) short footage with the monkey HERE:▬►
The video shows Murad Abdullaev and Natalia Berezhko brutally beating small monkeys with their hands and metal poles, Peter Prostetsova beating a poodle with a chain, Rauf Rasulova beating and abusing a kangaroo, who ended up dying some time later, and Alex Yermylov beating an African ostrich with his hands, feet and a whip !
The undercover investigator said:Walking around the premises of the circus, I constantly heard the sound of slaps, hits, screams, groans and shrieks of animals in pain. To confirm these facts,I installed a surveillance camera which recorded everything that happened in that closed room. The camera captured numerous scenes of monkey beatings by trainer Murad Abdullaev and his assistant Natalie Berezhko. The beatings lasted for hours. They beat the animals with metal poles on their heads, bodies and backs. They repeatedly grabbed them by their scruff and throw them to a chair, a table, through the floor. You could hear the screams. They were held by their tails and batted in the air.➨ watch the picture of the Kangaroo here: ►
On one of the videos, Berezhko is seen checking the monkey for fractures and bruises after a terrible beating the day before. I watched as injured animals with broken fingers still went through trainings. Many animals, such as bears, are kept in tiny cages, where they showed clear signs of zoochosis, extreme psychological stress in animals. I also witnessed the brutal beating trainer Rauf Rasulova gave a kangaroo with a whip. The kangaroo was kept in a tiny aviary. The team led by Rauf Rasulova, especially Alex Yermylov, also beat an African ostrich during trainings with whips and their hands and feet. The ostriches were also kept in a tiny aviary and showed severe stress. ➨ PLEASE WATCH the picture here:
►
➨ BACKGROUND
The worst thing is not even beating, although it's hard to watch. The worst thing ... the eyes of these animals and a monkey in a cage stroking his broken fingers..!!PLEASE WATCH the picture here:➨
While some countries impose bans on using wild animals in circuses, this kind of entertainment is flourishing in Russia. In these cages the animals spend their free time -- when they are not involved in rehearsals or shows -- which is approximately 23 hours a day. The animal's performance can take up to 15 minutes and approximately 30 minutes prior to it they are taken out for a short walk.
➨Please Notice how the cats and the monkeys and the bears are held in cages watch the pictures here:

Most of their lives these circus monkeys will spend stuffed into such cages..!!

10 Kids Who Were Raised By Wild Animals
10 Real Kids Who Were Raised In The AMAZON JUNGLE
Subscribe to our channel: ► ◄
Have you ever been to a restaurant or just out in public and you get disrupted by loud and hyper kids? Yup, children can get pretty wild and make quite a scene. However, what about when children get really wild? We mean this in the literal sense and have 10 examples of children who were raised in the wild by animals.
We’ll start you off with Natasha, a girl who was actually raised by feral cats and dogs after her parents neglected her. Then there’s Bello, a character who is seemingly straight from a Disney movie thanks to the fact he was raised by chimps. We’ll travel to India to tell you about a boy who was actually living with wolves. Not too far from there, lives a woman in Cambodia who appeared from the jungle one day after living a feral life for several years. If you like cats then be sure to stick around for the story of the little boy who was actually raised by a pack of feral street cats. No discussion of kids raised by wild animals would be complete without mentioning Marina Chapman. Allegedly kidnapped, her strange story involves monkeys in the jungle and a happy ending. In Siberia, a boy named Andrei was abandoned by his parents. Incredibly, he survived the harsh environment thanks to man’s best friend. In the Andes Mountains in South America, we’ll tell you about a boy known only as Daniel who survived thanks to wild goats. Speaking of mountains, there’s also the incredible story of Marcos who basically lived with wolves and, from what we can gather, experienced a Disney-like story over several years. Finally, there’s the story of a Ugandan man named John who fled into the jungle as a boy and was “discovered” years later living with a troop of monkeys.
