Pinagbuyutan Island in El Nido - Palawan
One of my most favorite beaches in El Nido, Palawan is found in Pinagbuyutan Island. Powdery white sand and amazing crystal clear waters! It is part of El Nido island hopping Tour B.

PHILIPPINES TRAVEL TIPS: PLACES YOU MUST VISIT IN EL NIDO, PALAWAN (WATCH THIS!)
Read about El Nido on our Blog:
We Released the Philippines Travel Guide Ebook:
Philippines - El Nido, Palawan. The Most Beautiful Place in the world. We visited Philippines in October 2017. In this video we describe a part of our trip - Palawan Island and the marine reserve El Nido: how to get to El Nido - by ferry or plane to the airport of Puerto Princesa, places to see and visit on the island and its surroundings, where it’s better to eat and wether El Nido market is worth visiting.
We went from El Nido on a group boat tour B, so that on personal experience to compare the impressions of the group tour and the rental of an individual boat. During the tour we visited Entalula Beach, Snake Island, mangrove forest on Snake Island, Codognon Cave, Cathedral Cave, Pinagbuyutan Island and snorkeled near Popolcan Island. Then the next day we rented motorbikes and went to meet adventures - on a self-made trip to Nacpan Beach. The road to the beach is really picturesque: dense mountains, palm groves, rice fields, buffaloes resting in the shade of trees. The advantage of a self-made trip is that you can stop at any place you like. However, the last 4 km on the way to Nacpan beach can give you an unpleasant surprise if you go on a trip in rainy weather - the roads will be bad and you will have to go through mud and deep puddles. Accordingly, it is better to be in clothes and shoes, which you are not afraid to make dirty. Nacpan Beach is a place where you can spend your time in any weather and enjoy the incredible nature of the Philippines. Visit these places and they will surely stay in your hearts for a long time!

EL NIDO ISLAND HOPPING: TOUR A VS. TOUR B
When planning an island hopping tour in El Nido, which one is better, Tour A or Tour B?
Book tour A here:
Book tour B here:
I went on private island hopping tours to find out which one between the popular Tour A and the less crowded Tour B is better, to help you make a deicision, especially if you are short on time!
Tour A included 5 stops: The big and small lagoons, the hidden lagoon, snorkeling spot, Seven Commandos Beach, and Shimizu Island. I loved the big lagoon, and would highly suggest that instead of renting a kayak, you opt to swim through it. It was the best way to experience the big lagoon, in my opinion! Because it was a private tour, I was able to customize my routes and avoid the crowds. We had the hidden lagoon, Seven Commandos Beach and Shimizu Island all to ourselves for a good few minutes, which would not have been possible on a group tour.
I paid 6000 pesos for a private Tour A. You can read more about it here:
Tour B also included 5 stops: Entalula Beach, Snake Island, Cudugnon Cave, Cathedral Cave, and Pinagbuyutan Island. Note that because it was a private tour, I was able to reverse the route, which ended up being a great decision as we had all spots all to ourselves / shared with just a few other people! The tour is also less popular compared to Tour A, but enjoyable nonetheless.
I paid 5000 pesos for a private Tour B. You can read more about it here:
So which tour is better? Watch until the end of the video to find out!

One of the highlights of our 2-day tour with Midnight Sun. This little island is incredible - the perfect white sand beach with warm water, teaming with tiny hermit crabs and backing onto a lush grassy area dotted with coconut palms.
