The beach located on the southern cost of Oaxaca state. We visited this place in April and the weather was good. The place is quiet and pleasant, there are many markets with tasty fruits.

Surf Rescue on Mexico's Most Dangerous Beach: Playa Zicatela in Puerto Escondido
We tackle the Puerto Escondido surf head on! Having seen those big wave surfing movies where pro surfers get towed out with a jetski to attempt to ride gigantic waves, we look behind the scenes at the surf rescues that happen when the pro surfers eat it!
In this episode, we go to Mexico's most dangerous beach, Playa Zicatela in Puerto Escondido, about 2 hours from Secrets Huatulco Resort and Spa. We meet with the respected lifeguards there, who perform more than 600 rescues a year. Indeed, this is a place where the lifeguards must rely on jetskis for surf rescues that happen when the huge waves of the mythical Mexican Pipeline are crashing— these huge surfing waves get up to 15 meters high!
Captain Godo from Salvadidas Lifeguards shows us all there is in a typical surf life-saving operation, from shallow water to deep ocean rescue, even teaching us CPR along the way. While we might not be ready for the Surf Lifesaving Championships in just a day, it was unreal to share the day with the badass lifeguards making our favorite sport safer.

What's goin' on people, hope you're well!
So we thought that while we were waiting for Alexzandras passport to get done (they said it would take about 2 weeks), we might aswell leave Mexico City, get on the bus and head for beautiful Oaxaca!
The vibe was amazing, the weather perfect, the people awesome and we learned about some sweet ass Mexican reaggae.
Couldn't have asked for more!
So in this episode we chilled out in Zipolite, Mazunte and Puerto Escondido.
