Exploration of Ladybower Reservoirs giant bell mouth overflows known locally as plugholes. With water levels low the bell mouth are fully exposed, and we could not leave without looking inside.

Two months ago I filmed a full explore on Ladybower Plughole and Outlet. Its now in full flood and overflowing down the plughole.
The video will show the plughole in full flow and also the other end, the outlet with a torrent of water flowing out

Ladybower Plughole

Following heavy rain from Storm Doris, water cascades into one of two bellmouth overflows on Ladybower Reservoir near Sheffield in the Derbyshire Peak District. Known locally as 'the plugholes' the giant stone drains are 80 ft in diameter. Most of the year the top of the bellmouths are above the water level near the dam wall only allowing extra water to drain from the reservoir into the river Derwent after heavy rain.

DeeJayOne presents Supporters at The Plug in Sheffield celebrate Daniel Sturrage's goal for England against Italy in the 2014 Brazil World Cup. ????????????????????????????????????
Sturrage's equaliser came in the 37th minute, but wasn't enough to prevent defeat to Italy, who won 2-1. Goals by Claudio Marchisio and Mario Ballotelli in a well fought game sealed the Group D points for the Azzurri.
The atmosphere inside a packed Plug nightclub in Sheffield, where fans were watching on screens around the venue, including a giant HD screen, was awesome. Supporters sang and chanted in the build up to the match as well as throughout the game, helped along by drums, fireworks, drinks offers and a barbecue in the outdoor section by the Twisted Burger Company!

In a random police stop outside his house Ivan Graham and obtaining his keys to his house to discover a drug factory with far reaching capabilities, prosecution claimed they flooded the streets of #Derby with class A drugs including kilos of cocaine ,heroin,cannabis and crack all found at the property, multiple firearms and nearly half a million in cash in a drawer.
four men were jailed today from London and Midlands areas and judge sentenced Ivan to 24 years describing him as a key figure in the drug world with a high purity source.
calculating through packaging in shed that 1000 kilos had passed through the house amounting to a minimum of 35 million pound .
All equipment for increasing profits including industrial press were found in the house .
judge said it was one of the most major finds in the midlands in recent times and a significant amount taken off the streets .

Quick edit from a evening session with Ross on the river! mainly targeting pike in weir pools and we found some good fish. Just to note the filming is kinda crappy because I wasn't really planning on making a video, I just had it on and we caught some nice fish, so I did.
filmed in 3 hours of fishing - ross had caught 3 fish before I met up with him.

ME - Wolfcreek shad, 23cm 98grams, rainbow trout colour
ROSS - Strikepro Pig shad JR 20cm, 50grams, motoroil colour
(we didn't change lures all session)

The Plug Nightclub (often called just Plug) is a 1200 capacity live music venue and nightclub located in Matilda Street, Sheffield, England. Situated in the city centre close to The Moor, The Plug is one of the city's premier venues and nightclubs.
The venue opened in October 2005 after the owners of the existing .Zero nightclub, Scott Bailey and Adele Armitage, purchased the adjoining building and converted it into an arena to accommodate live music. The premises were amalgamated to create a three-roomed venue themed on the wiring of an electrical plug. The rooms were branded Live, Earth and Neutral. Live and Earth are contained within the converted building and Neutral is the former .Zero nightclub space, well known to club goers for hosting such events as Razor Stiletto, Urban Gorilla and Planet Zogg.
The Plug, known as one of the best live venues in Sheffield, plays host to some of the best current bands and artists on a regular basis; as well as being home to some of the greatest club nights in Sheffield, such as Jump Around, Spanked, Shuffle and Propaganda.
