Footage of Poulton-Le-Fylde signal box, signals and station before the upgrade and electrification of the Blackpool North line during the winter of 2017-18. The box was closed on 11 November 2017, and demolished in February 2018 following a longer stay of execution that the others on the route.

The old Fire Station at Singleton, Poulton le Fylde
Mr H and little Toby take a look at the small Volunteer Fire Station building located in the picturesque village of Singleton in Poulton-le-Fylde that was built in 1882 and last used as a Fire Station in 1946 that now serves the local community as an Electricity Sub Station.

Steelwork lowered to the ground
The Poulton and Wyre Railway Society were kindly donated a concrete building by Wyre Borough Council.
The building which is destined to become a locomotive shed had to be dismantled and transported to our workshops at the NPL estates in Thornton.
This video shows a team lowering the steelwork portals to the ground using a block and tackle attached to a tripod made out of scaffolding poles.
The Wedding of Jane and Anthony, Christ Church and Ashton Hall, Lancaster
The truly tremendous wedding of Jane and Anthony began at the stunning Christ Church on Wyresdale Road, then onto the amazing Ashton Hall at Lancaster Golf Club for a fabulous reception. A day packed with originality and fun from the tea and cake after the ceremony through to a Samba band playing in Ashton Hall’s courtyard later in the evening! A massive thank you to Jane and Anthony for the opportunity to capture their unique and very special wedding day! Congratulations to you both!
