Best of Prague by Drone 4K Travel Guide - Aerial Prague, Czech Republic
This Prague travel guide by drone 4K takes you to the city whose glory reach the stars and to the place where every step you make tells you a story of the past. Hope you enjoy your vacation in Prague!

In this aerial video I would like to present you Prague the city where I was born and where I spend most of my life.
Prague beauty is very hard to explain by words, everywhere you look there's always something new to see, artists performing in the streets and an atmosphere that takes you away. Everything is so old and beautiful, it is a marvel of architecture and culture.
In video about Prague you can see:
The Charles Bridge It spans the Vltava river and is adorned with many statues of the saints, making its visit an unique experience
Prague Castle which has been a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. It is also the largest ancient castle in the world.
The Emmaus monastery as well as Charles bridge were founded by king Charles IV, This monastery is unique because it was the first place where ceremonies were not held in Latin but in a local language. It was allowed by pope in a condition that it will be the only monastery of this kind in the empire.
The Czech Prague National Theatre which is known as the alma mater of Czech opera, and as the national monument of Czech history and art. The National Theatre belongs to the most important Czech cultural institutions, with a rich artistic tradition, which helped to preserve and develop the most important features of the nation–the Czech language and a sense for a Czech musical and dramatic way of thinking.
The Castle Vyšehrad is fortified Castle with a lot of legends. Vyšehrad was also the place of the first settlement which later became Prague
Statue of Kafka - Rotating head by famous Czech artist David Černý. The 42 mobile tiers of eleven-metre-tall sculpture align to form the face of the famous Czech writer Franz Kafka.
The Old Town Square which features buildings belonging to various architectural styles, including the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn, which has been the main church of this part of the city since the 14th century. Its characteristic towers are 80 m high. The Baroque St. Nicholas Church is another church located in the square. Prague Orloj is a medieval astronomical clock mounted on the Old Town Hall. The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still in operation. The tower of the Old Town Hall is open to the public and offers panoramic views of the Old Town. The square's center is home to a statue of religious reformer Jan Hus, who was burned at the stake for his beliefs in Constance. This led to the Hussite Wars. The statue known as the Jan Hus Memorial was erected on 6 July 1915 to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.
Every step you discover something new and every corner tells a story of the past.

Prague protesters demand Babis step down on anniversary of Velvet Revolution | DW News
Tens of thousands of people have gathered in the Czech Republic's capital Prague to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Andrej Babis, who has been compared with US President Donald Trump. Opponents of Babis accuse the populist leader of profiting from his office and conflicts of interest. He is one of the Czech Republic's richest men. The protests coincide with events commemorating the start of the 1989 Velvet Revolution that toppled the communist regime in what was then Czechoslovakia. Organizers of the activist group Million Moments for Democracy and their co-founder Benjamin Roll say they want the Czech Republic to rediscover the pro-democracy ideals that fueled the protests in 1989.

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, STREET FOOD IN PRAGUE, 2019
PRAGUE,CZECH REPUBLIC, STREET FOOD IN PRAGUE, 2019, Prague is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, the 14th largest city in the European Union and the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated on the Vltava river, Prague is home to about 1.3 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of 2.6 million. The city has a temperate oceanic climate, with relatively warm summers and chilly winters.
Prague is a political, cultural and economic centre of central Europe complete with a rich history. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque eras, Prague was the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia and the main residence of several Holy Roman Emperors, most notably of Charles IV. It was an important city to the Habsburg Monarchy and its Austro-Hungarian Empire. The city played major roles in the Bohemian and Protestant Reformation, the Thirty Years' War and in 20th-century history as the capital of Czechoslovakia between the World Wars and the post-war Communist era.
Prague is home to a number of well-known cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
The city has more than ten major museums, along with numerous theatres, galleries, cinemas and other historical exhibits. An extensive modern public transportation system connects the city. It is home to a wide range of public and private schools, including Charles University in Prague, the oldest university in Central Europe.
Prague is classified as an Alpha − global city according to GaWC studies and ranked sixth in the Tripadvisor world list of best destinations in 2016. In 2019, the city was ranked as 69th most liveable city in the world. Its rich history makes it a popular tourist destination and as of 2017, the city receives more than 8.5 million international visitors annually. In 2017 Prague was listed as the fifth most visited European city after London, Paris, Rome and Istanbul., During the thousand years of its existence, Prague grew from a settlement stretching from Prague Castle in the north to the fort of Vyšehrad in the south, to become the capital of a modern European country.

Personal Travel: Prague, Czech Republic (2016)
This is our 2nd trip to Prague. Love coming back here! :)
Trdelník is a traditional cake and sweet pastry. It is made from rolled dough that is wrapped around a stick, then grilled and topped with sugar and walnut mix.
Trdelník is found in several Central European countries, most prominently Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary (where it is known to come from the Hungarian-speaking part of Transylvania, Romania). The word trdelník is of Czech or Slovak origin.
Founded in 1232, the Klementinum in Prague is the largest and most historic complex of buildings in the Old Town. It covers an area of over two hectares close to the Vltava River, near Charles Bridge. The Klementinum has undergone a rich architectural evolution. Since the Middle Ages many of Europe's great astronomers, scientists, philosophers and musicians have studied and worked here, influencing the development of its wonderful array of buildings.
The Astronomical Tower: 172 steps lead to the top of the tower for 360° views over Prague. A lift operates only part of the way, so not for visitors with walking difficulties. On the 2nd floor of the tower is the Meridian Hall, which was designed to determine noon.
Baroque Library Hall: stunning home of the Czech National Library, housing 20,000 books from the early 17th century onwards. The hall is decorated with magnificent ceiling frescoes, and remains unaltered since the 18th century.
The Žižkov Television Tower (Czech: Žižkovský vysílaè) is a unique transmitter tower built in Prague between 1985 and 1992. Designed by the architect Václav Aulický and the structural engineer Jiøí Kozák. It stands high above the city's traditional skyline from its position on top of a hill in the district of Žižkov, from which it takes its name. The tower is an example of high-tech architecture.
The Absintherie Bar and Museum was opened several years ago, with the aim to introduce not only the taste of quality absinthe but also the correct way of its serving. Many people still believe that absinthe is something dangerous and forbidden. However, nowadays, absinthe is known as premium kind of spirits, produced as pure herbs distillate. This is why all the rumours that absinthe must be green and drinking it will bring you strange sensations are just myths.
And so our Prague Underground Tour Begins.....
Old Town Square at night - just beautiful!
Our Tour guide was explaining the history of the Astronomical Clock
If you enjoyed watching it, please give it a thumbs up! It will mean a lot to me. :)

From Charles Bridge, we follow Karlova, a narrow, winding street that leads directly to the Old Town Square, the oldest square in the historical center of the city. Snack and souvenir shops line the right side of the street. On the left is the Klementium, a university founded by the Jesuits and united with Charles University after the Counter-Reformation.
In the restaurant U Zlatého Hada, a restaurant with traditional Czech dishes, we enjoy a goulash with Bohemian dumplings.
The architecture of the houses in the old town is characterized by the Gothic and Baroque, but there are also a few from the Romantic period.
Shortly after, we reach times Male Namesti, the former pharmacist square. Up to the 14th century, many pharmacies were here. Also one of the most renowned pharmacies of the town had settled here.
From here it is only a few steps to the old town hall with the famous Prague Astronomical Clock, the Prague Orloj.
Right next to it is the Old Town Square with the massive Jan Hus monument in the middle. Hus ranks as a Czech national saint, who stood up for freedom of religion. He preached against the worldly possessions and greed of the church. Hus did not see the Pope but the Bible as a supreme authority. For his teachings, one burned him at the stake in Constance.
To this picturesque backdrop, we watch a pretty Asian bride and groom for a while, posing in front of a carriage
The Zelezná leads southeast. We follow it to the Karolinum, one of the headquarters of Charles University. The dark oriel of the chapel is striking. Next to it is the Estates Theater.
A small band of musicians probably invites you to a Don Giovanni show, which takes place here every day. Mozart stayed in Prague for a long time. He composed here, and Don Giovanni had its premiere in Prague
.......

IN 1700's MY FAMILY LIVED HERE!! Prague to Frenstat pod Radhostem | Czech Republic Travel Vlog
Our fist Czech Republic vlog outside Prague, this ones in Frenstat pod Radhostem where my ancestors lived in Czechoslovakia! ⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇
My (Dane's) family are originally from Czechoslovakia, which then split into Czech Republic and Slovakia. After working through our ancestors history and family tree we traced back a location called Frenstat pod Radhostem where they lived. This vlog is us on a travel mission from Prague!
We made our way to visit Frenstat pod Radhostem and hunted down the small village center before finding my ancestors house from the 1700's!
