This area high quite a few East Indian people. If you need a saree there are a few stores around here.

We start our walk on Main Street and 51st Avenue. As we walk south on Main we pass by Sunset Community Centre. A left is taken on 53rd Avenue and by the end of the video we are on Fraser Street.

Walking to the Punjabi Market in Vancouver Canada. Main Street Area Houses/Homes/Life.

The clouds or a cloud? Which would be more appropriate?

We start our walk on East 56th Avenue. By the time we reach Prince Edward Street we take a right. On this street we pass by back of the ice rink. It's always nice to have a bit of art in unexpected places. When we reach 49th Avenue, we take a left which leads us to the Punjabi Market.

There's a college called Langara in this video.

We are walking quite near the Punjabi Market area in this video. The video starts on East 50th Avenue. By the end the road, we can see Langara College. A left is taken on Ontario Street and then another left is taken on East 51st Avenue. We reach Main Street at the end of the road and you can see Sunset Community Centre from across the street.

Life in Vancouver BC Canada. East 51st Avenue. Fraser to Main Street. City Walk in December 2019.

I tend to think this music suits these walks.

We start our walk on Fraser Street and then proceed down a slight hill on East 51st Avenue. You'll notice there an arena and a park at the bottom of the street. By the end of the video, we have reached the Punjabi Market, a nice place to get some jewellery or a saree and then some curry.

We start our walk on Quebec Street from East 57th Avenue. A right is taken on East 50th Avenue and we reach the Punjabi Market on Main Street.

Leslie and Susan Joe immigrated to Canada in 1956, where they recognized a demand for tofu in Vancouver’s Chinese community. Leslie and Susan began making small batches of fresh tofu in the back of their grocery store, Sunrise Market. It did not take long for Sunrise Market to develop loyal customers in the community. As the demand for tofu grew throughout the 60’s and 70’s, so did the business. In 1983, factory space was purchased nearby to transition the small operation into a large-scale manufacturing plant. Over 50 years later, Sunrise Market still operates and Sunrise Soya Foods is Canada's largest manufacturer of tofu.

Sunrise Market is a family-owned and operated grocery store in Vancouver, centrally located near the Chinatown, Railtown, and Strathcona neighborhoods. They offer a wide range of produce, meat, dairy, packaged goods and seasonal items including the full selection of Sunrise Soya Foods products.
