Andalucía - THE UNFORGOTTEN DREAM // Granada – Sevilla - Córdoba [4K]

It is with immense and indescribable pleasure that I share with you my first experience exploring the magnificent Andalucía.
I spent 12 days traveling solo; unraveling the mysteries behind the breathtaking region’s 3 cities: Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada. The countless videos that I have made of my past trips all compiled together have nothing on the time, energy and love invested into this one. This one was truly a challenge, I must say. A beautiful challenge that is. Everything I’ve learned, I have put into the creation of this piece. A piece that I myself feel fascinated by and that I sure hope will fascinate each and every one of you as well.
Travelling solo has pushed me to open up to new adventures and more importantly, to new friendships. It is mind blowing how quick and easy it is to bond with complete strangers with whom you share the love of travelling. With pure and open hearts, we shared meals and a a few too many laughs. And that was it. Beautiful. Simple. Touching.
On a very last note, I must also share with you one of the many remarkable things that added a special touch to this trip. And that is, the flamenco dance. And what a dance it is. Known as “alfalah almankoub”, it was a way for the peasants to express their suffering and struggle against the bourgeoisie, which will also be seen throughout this piece.
And on that note, ladies and gents, I invite you to dim the lights and turn up the sound to enjoy one of my most heartfelt works.

Seville is the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region. It's famous for flamenco dancing, particularly in its Triana neighborhood.
Major landmarks include the ornate Alcázar castle complex, built during the Moorish Almohad dynasty.
The Gothic Seville Cathedral is the site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb and a minaret turned bell tower, the Giralda.

Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide | Sevilla is the flamboyant city of Carmen and Don Juan, where bullfighting is still politically correct and little girls dream of growing up to become flamenco dancers. Sevilla has soul — and we feel it in its lacy Moorish palace, massive cathedral, lavish royal tombs, labyrinthine Jewish quarter, and its people-filled streets.

Flamenco Solo @ El Palacio Andaluz, Seville, Spain
Flamenco is a Spanish art form made up of three parts: guitar playing (guitarra), song (cante) and dance (baile). Flamenco originated in the region of Andalusia in Southern Spain. Seville is the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia. Flamenco mixes percussive footwork (like 'tap-dancing') with intricate hand, arm and body movements accompanied with singing and music. Interestingly, as per Wikipedia ( Flamenco music was influenced by Hindu and Arabic music from the beginning, and the melodic song forms known as Arabesques and Melismas are fine examples of Arabic influence upon Flamenco.

Horse dance. The horse became curious where you are coming from. I visited the ranch to ask the trainer. View from the entrance yen seems to be just a small breeding farm. But quite a lot of sense. Miranda 60 horses. There's all female horses are shown. Itjyo earned tried to raise the pups. Finish it was time to feed. Jugido the pool, but a lot of danda-fed barley or wheat, soybeans, including grain. Cubs gives a mix of acorns. We are the guys in the stallion. There are more than 10 horses. But unusually long hair. Originally of Spanish horse hair so long. I did not cut to show that obey him. Miranda best horse of the stallion's place. There is also the stigma of the best horse. The Spanish government gives dip. Stallions are usually around 1 billion won our money - but the horse usually takes a value difficult to say. Without these guys have been here I'm just an ordinary pasture. Stallion had been particularly management. Then run for 30 minutes a day. The point is earned to good chicks. The best experts have been invited. Thanks also look for mating could see. This was decided at the end of the mare to mate several attempts. But experts alters the stallion. That mare stallion egen this is absurd. I say, every able worthy mares. Find the bloodline going to want to come out right. Stallions completing the rest after mating allows cooled heat.

Sevilla, Spain: Gothic Cathedral
More info about travel to Sevilla: Spain's Seville Cathedral is the third-largest church in Europe (after St. Peter’s in the Vatican, and St. Paul’s in London) and the largest Gothic church anywhere. When they ripped down the mosque that stood on this site in 1401, the Reconquista Christians bragged, “We’ll build a cathedral so huge that anyone who sees it will take us for madmen.”

Medieval Spanish history gets the short end of the stick — brushed over for Baghdad in Muslim histories and little-understood before peak Reconquista in Christian histories. But a little digging reveals an absolutely stunning society that bridges worlds and shatters some of history's biggest lingering misconceptions.

USA: MIAMI: TRADITIONAL SPANISH SEVILLE FESTIVAL IS HELD
Spanish/Nat
Colourful costumes, dancing, sumptuous food and exotic horses came together at a Spanish fair in South Florida today.
Thousands enjoyed paella and Spanish cultural performances.
The Fair of Seville in Miami attracted hundreds Sunday.
Early on Sunday cooks started preparing an enormous paella - a Spanish rice dish cooked with chicken and seafood.
Many fair-goers were driven around the fair grounds in carriages, while others tucked into traditional Spanish food.
Brightly dressed dancers performed traditional Spanish dances featuring elaborate hand movements and rhythmic footwork.
Other performances featured the pure-bred Andalusian horses of Spanish origin.
For this trainer, the horses and the fair are more than just fun.
SOUNDBITE: (Spanish)
You know that there is a large Latin community here - Colombians, Nicaraguans, Cubans - and we all have Spanish roots. We have the nostalgia of the mother country, the nostalgia of things from Spain, and we want promote this here so we don't lose our roots.
SUPER CAPTION: Hector Villamar, leader and organizer Andalusian horse parade
The Fair of Seville also has deep roots in Florida history. An 18th century Catholic priest reported seeing similar festivities in St. Augustine, Florida in the 1700s.
Two men in Spain created that country's Fair of Seville 150 years ago. In Spain, today's Fair attracts about one (m) million people and features over 1,000 casetas - or hospitality tents - hundreds of horses, carriages and flamenco shows.
