Qaqortoq, formerly Julianehåb, is a town in the Kujalleq municipality in southern Greenland. With a population of 3,229 in 2013, it is the most populous town in southern Greenland and the fourth-largest town on the island.

Unge og barnlige sjæle med hang til at brænde benzin af og komme først over målstregen kan nu få styret deres lyster i Qaqortoq.
I udkanten af byen er der blevet opført en splinterny kuperet bane af jord. Her kan fire kørere i hver deres cross-kart ræse rundt. Banen blev officielt åbnet af prinsgemal Henrik i onsdags.
Her forklarede, hoteldirektør Jim Riis, en af de bærende kræfter bag tilblivelsen af banen om baggrunden for projektet.

Henning Larsen Architects has developed the project 'Greenland Migrating' in collaboration with David Garcia Studio and KITAA Architects for the Danish pavilion at the 13th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice. The project has aimed to develop a strategy for the Greenland town of Ilulissat. Migration is a natural part of Greenland's history but increased tourism and potential mineral exploration can cause a migration flow that might turn the Greenlandic population into a minority in their own country.
