In the City of New Westminster at Queen's Park we have a great Spray Park that is very popular for toddlers and children on a hot summer day. To complement your experience the Spray Park is located next to washrooms, playgrounds, a concession stand and picnic facilities.

New Westminster Uptown-Royal City Centre Mall-New Westminster BC
New Westminster Uptown has a couple of malls. The Royal City Centre Mall, shown in this video, is within a short walking distance of New Westminster Mall.
New Westminster is peculiar in that its Uptown is considered more of a city center than its downtown which is the area close to the Fraser River.
The city hall is somewhere in the middle of the hill in between. New Westminster could have been the Capital of British Columbia to this day had it not been replaced in favor of Victoria during the beginnings of this beautiful province of Canada.
