Walking Around Queenstown | What to do in Queenstown (for the non-adrenaline junkie)
Episode 3 of Wandering Around Queenstown, New Zealand - I start walking from my motel room and walk around much of the Queenstown center – while ensuring that I have a happy, peaceful, pampered day. SO MUCH BETTER THAN ADRENALINE ACTIVITIES (that’s what this girl thinks, at least) - I experienced all kinds of paradise while walking around this place in one day.
I didn't mention this in the vlog, but my chopper ride leading to the alpine landing was almost canceled due to bad weather. However, you know me! I held onto that beautiful, precious thing called hope, kept trying to manifest better weather throughout the day, and called them back around 2 pm to check if they would now agree to fly. They thought this pesky girl ain’t going to give up and said awwwwright….we’ll go! Woohoo!
There are other wonderful activities that you could take up in and around Queenstown, of course, depending on the amount of time you have at hand, how much you’re willing to spend, and a few other factors! What I did was DEFINITELY a more budget friendly option.

New Zealand TRIP::: PART 3 - Wanaka - Arrowtown- Queenstown - Basket of Dreams
We visited the cute town of Wanaka before heading to Arrowtown for some gold mining.
We then zip lined at AJ Hackett Queenstown before exploring the beautiful Queenstown
High winds impacted us seeing the gondola so we split the gondola trip into 2 (1st day Dinner, 2nd day Luge) but this ended up being the best!
Favourite foodie spots: Taj Indian - Patagonia Ice Creamery - Skyline Buffet - Fergburger & Bakery
The walk to Basket of Dreams was stunning and the news over Queenstown were so beautiful

Tim Wilson is one of New Zealand's leading landscape artists. His finely detailed work can be found in galleries and homes around the world.
Imagine a timeless place. A place free of boundaries, free of emotional constraint and free of fear. Somewhere where the self peacefully blends with the infinite….. of such breathtaking beauty that nothing else matters.
We see this place in Tim’s magical paintings.
His skill and vision encourage us to go beyond the physical and to experience something of the spirituality which, for Tim, is an integral part of these landscapes. Tim paints real mountains, real lakes and real skies, but he is also deeply aware of the Spirit of Place. Perhaps it is the synergy of the factual and the intuitively understood that imbues his work with such extraordinary qualities.
He paints the places he loves because they feed and excite him and because they are beautiful. We intuitively understand this, and the emotional response they engender in us is both welcome and deeply satisfying.
The great beauty which Tim creates elevates and delights us. It is his gift to the world.
