Stewart Island Historic Milling Site Steam Engines
Steam engines used in milling timber, on the Rakiura Track on Stewart Island, between North Arm Hut and Prt William Hut. One engine was used for hauling, one for milling. Each was designed and build by different companies specialising in engines for that niche activity.

Traveling New Zealand - Day 16
On Day 16 of our holiday in New Zealand we enjoyed the beauty of rough weather in Stewart Island, hunkered down in Bungaree hut. Despite the gale force winds and rain showers, the boys went out in our boat, the Artemis, and caught us some fresh sushi for dinner. Life is good.
