Bio/Purpose for This Channel
Born in Pittsburgh, PA , I was surrounded by individuals who chose to simply go through the motions and stick to the norm. From a young age I realized that I wanted to challenge the status quo not by dreaming, but by DOING. So a month after graduating I moved 2,057 miles away from home (if using google maps) to Scottsdale, AZ.
At the beginning of this year (4 years later) I realized my life's passion was to explore the world through hiking adventures and life changing experiences. This is that journey.

How to have a funky weekend in Pittsburgh
Looking for a fun weekend trip? This video shows why you should consider Pittsburgh. As you’ll see, so many spots here will blow away what people might expect of this city.
Take Randyland, for example, where you can reimagine what a neighborhood looks like through a collection of found art. Then there’s the contemporary art at the Mattress Factory. Or how about the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, a paddle trail along the Allegheny River you can access right from downtown? There are so many surprising places, like the feminist makerspace, Prototype, or Church Brew Works, a beautiful church fittingly repurposed as a brewery.
If you want a fun weekend, don’t be afraid to hit up Pittsburgh. Just make sure to bring your A game when it’s time to bowl.

In this video I share the highlights of my Pittsburgh trip!
I made this Pittsburgh travel video after I spent a few hours exploring the Steel City. I only had a few hours to explore and walk around but I definitely want to head back and check out some more of what the City of Bridges has to offer.
Apart from the lovely Point State Park and the modern business district I was able to enjoy some delicious Mexican food and there were so many quirky little cafes that I couldn't even decide which one to choose!
Being from Ontario, Pennsylvania was quite surprising to me in regards to how nice it was and it's easy to see why Pittsburgh tourism is on the rise. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, super helpful and I could definitely see that the people of Pittsburgh were very proud of the city they lived in!
Some of the specific destinations in this video include:
Point State Park
The Downtown Business District of Pittsburgh
The Cog Railway
Duquesne Lookout City View

New Signage Coming To City's Steepest Street
Pittsburgh’s Canton Avenue is not only the steepest street in the city, it is the steepest in the lower 48 states; KDKA's Ken Rice reports.
Places to see fall leaves around Pittsburgh
They may be green now, but those leaves will change to brilliant reds, golds and oranges before you know it. We compiled a list of five great places just a short drive away from the Pittsburgh area to see some of the best fall foliage around Pittsburgh.
Raccoon State Park is just under an hour from Downtown Pittsburgh and its 7,000 acres are bursting with fall foliage come peak color. The park is one of the largest and most visited state parks and open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. The park offers programs year-round, so be on the lookout for autumn-oriented ones.
The scenic Laurel Highlands will absolutely take your breath away come the fall season. Late September to early October is the recommended timeframe for the best viewing of the fall colors. Spend the whole day in the Laurel Highlands, going to events like Fort Ligonier Days, Ohiopyle State Park and visiting the 9/11 Flight 93 Memorial.
Beam Rock is high above the Laurel Highlands and offers stunning views perfect for your fall foliage Instagram pics. View the Laurel Ridge into Somerset County and nearby Jennerstown. Beam Rocks is hugely popular among rock climbers and is often quite crowded. There are slots and caves for the less adventurous and it is advised to exercise extreme caution as in the fall there are often wet leaves which make things slippery.
Allegheny National Forest is the state's only national forest. It is located in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains and is full of dense forestry perfect for fall viewing. Enjoy over 500,000 acres in Elk, Forest, McKean and Warren counties. In addition to providing gorgeous views in the autumn, Allegheny National Forest provides wood products, watershed protection and a variety of wildlife calls the forest home.
Why travel when you can find what you need right here? The Gateway Clipper offers gourmet lunch cruises and sightseeing cruises perfect for spotting the fall foliage our own city has to offer. Dine on items like strawberry shortcake and sauteéd chicken breast from the water while gazing at the beautiful colors outside. Enjoy Fall! Share this Video PittsburghBeautiful.com

Pittsburgh is America's Hottest Food City. Here's Why.
In a recent survey, Zagat named Pittsburgh as America's top food city. While beloved institutions like Primanti's and Tessaro's have been serving Steel City citizens for decades, a new crop of chefs like Justin Severino of Morcilla and Richard DeShantz of Tako are helping give Pittsburgh a new culinary identity. Zagat spoke with the chefs and restaurateurs who are helping institute a new era of dining to find out what makes the city so special - and why chefs should consider opening up shop here.
