Days Out Travel Blog: Richard Jefferies Museum, Coate, Swindon, Wiltshire
My day out today is a small museum celebrating nature writer Richard Jeffries, who was prominent during the 19th Century and actually died prematurely at 38 years of a strain of Tuberculosis.
My series called Days Out features events and places around the world that you might go to for a one off time, such as an exhibition or re-enactment. This episode is a brief taster during which time I was helping them with a free access assessment. Hopefully they will get funding to implement the changes.

Poetry Swindon - Happiness 2017
Annually we hold a well celebrated poetry wonder in our 'Fresh Tent Palace of the Delicious Air'. Swindon is a great place for poetry and Poetry Swindon taps into this rich vein of word-smithery with events, workshops, readings, a poetry festival and other poetic happenings. We love poetry and of course poets from Swindon, Wiltshire, the south west, Britain and The World, and tell everyone with half an ear bent our way about Swindon’s artistic heritage and rural beauty.
