UK - Braunton masquerades as Lord Dowding in the Peak District, 22-5-2016
Bulleid Pacific 34046 Braunton heads The Peak Forester from London Kings Cross to Matlock in Derbyshire. Braunton has been provisionally renumbered and renamed as 34052 Lord Dowding.
The lengthy express extended its journey slightly by travelling up the privately preserved Peak Rail line from Matlock to Rowsley, where the loco was turned on the turntable for its return journey.
We see the train twice on its outward journey, twice on Peak Rail and once more on its return journey.
