KITELOOPS 2020 BANDIT 8M F-ONE IN CAPETOWN kiteboarding Big Bay
My second session here in Cape Town ... this place is a kiting mecca. Totally different conditions then anywhere I have kited in the world. Everything is just more intense. Wind, waves. The wind is super dense here ... so 30 knots here feels more than a 30knots I am used to.
This session was amazing! Sending some Kiteloops / Megaloops on the 8m Bandit in the sunset!! What could be better? I think the wind was probably peaking around 35 knots.
This was last night - today the wind was gusting 50 knots + ... It was a bit much for me but I still had some big boosts with the 8m. Did not take my GoPro though. Nick Jacobsen was sending massive right in front of me & Aaron Hadlow did a 25m inverted Boogie Loop right in front of me! Insane!!! Kiteboarding is just too fun.

Cape Town is the most popular city for strong wind. The Redbull King of the Air riders delivered a big show this year and pushed the kite limits to the max. This gave me some inspiration to try out some scary loops. It's such a different feeling compared to freestyle. The height and the adrenaline gives you that extra kick. Even though we had rough conditions I did my best to land some freestyle tricks.
