DIANI BEACH mombasa kenya | HOTEL ROOM TOUR - Sassy Funke
DIANI BEACH mombasa kenya | HOTEL ROOM TOUR
I decided as part of my trip to Kenya to visit Mombasa where I stayed at the beautiful Neptune Palm Boutique Resort & Spa, a 4.5* Boutique hotel on a prime beachfront location at Diani beach, South Coast.
This All-inclusive Resort had one of the nicest food I have ever tried at an all-inclusive before. The staff were incredible and I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Diani beach.
The rooms, were very spacious, modern and very well designed.
In this video I'm taking you on a room tour of one of the best hotels in Mombasa. I also share some highlights and drone shots of the beautiful Diani beach.

10 .TAFARIA LODGE AND COUNTRY CLUB
Tafaria Lodge is a magnificent hotel setting that provides an authentic sphere of a perfect getaway to a place of serenity and tranquility. Also the fact that its adjacent to the Aberdare Park it provides a fabulous way to luxuriate in the wild as well as appreciation of the amazing topography with the scenery of snow-capped peak of Mt.Kenya at sight.
Therefore in my words Home away from Home I endorse the hotel as an awesome place to visit, You shall not be disappointed!
9. FAIRMOUNT NORFOLK HOTEL
Fairmont The Norfolk continues to be Nairobi's finest and best-known luxury hotel. The town and later the modern city of Nairobi grew up around Fairmont The Norfolk hotel, which still has its own private tropical gardens. The hotel is still the traditional starting point for safaris and the Lord Delamare Terrace is modern Nairobi's popular meeting place, where drinks and light meals are served continuously from morning till late evening.
8. FAIRMOUNT MARA SAFARI CLUB
Fairmont Mara Safari Club is the epitome of tented luxury.
The main lodge at the center of camp hosts an indoor restaurant, bar and library with Internet access to keep the relatives up to date with safari adventures. A spacious outside deck overhangs the river and leads to a heated pool, complete with bar and private massage tents.
With four poster, pillow-top beds and a veranda overlooking the hippo and crocodile-filled river, each of the 50 tents at Fairmont Mara Safari Club is superbly furnished with its own private, three-piece bathroom, including a number of “outdoor showers” in select tents. The larger-sized accommodations also feature expanded decks which allow for private dining, a new service.
7. TRIBE HOTEL
Tribe is possibly Nairobi’s coolest hotel. Blending contemporary design with tribal art and artifacts handpicked from across the continent, this luxury boutique accommodation offers a taste of Africa old and new. Expect understated glamour, exceptional service and an eclectic crowd.
6. VOYAGER BEACH RESORT
Grand, Nostalgic, Laid-Back, a hint of quaint yet modern architecture, home away from home feel, rustic yet cheerful view especially of the Indian Ocean. Tranquility, especially in the modern rooms, is a first among equals but the picturesque view of the sunrise from the bedroom was awe-inspiring and I must admit a few goose bumps struck me and had to literally pinch my already shocked skin to bring myself back to the realization that the surreal feel was nowhere near a fantasy!
5. DUSIT D2
Nestled along Nairobi’s leafy and secure Riverside Drive suburb, it's just minutes from the clamor of the central business district and merely a stone’s throw away from the heart of the city’s pulsing social scene. With intriguing spaces that balance a modern yet timeless aesthetic in an intimate boutique setting, dusitD2 nairobi is the very definition of contemporary chic.
Offering world class cuisine from its array of bars and restaurants, stylish and spacious guestrooms, unique event spaces, the award winning Devarana Spa and a striking red swimming pool, dusitD2 nairobi is the perfect urban retreat for both work and play.

Tourist say Watamu's coastal Island is among the best destination
Hundreds of tourists visiting Watamu, North Mombasa have rated the resort town as the best destination in Kenya for its pristine white sandy beaches. A spot check along the 25 kilometer beach along Watamu Marine National Park showed both local and international tourists flocking in large numbers for the new year holidays. In recent times, the coastal town has been overshadowed by Malindi in tourist attraction sites but business is now expected to remain high until April 2019.

✨ MORE ABOUT KENYA
Kenya is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean. It encompasses savannah, lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands. It's also home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. From Nairobi, the capital, safaris visit the Maasai Mara Reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations, and Amboseli National Park, offering views of Tanzania's 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Currency: Kenyan shilling
Nairobi is also home to the National Museum, with exhibits spanning native art to natural history, and the roving Maasai Market. Beach resorts line the coast around Malindi, whose vibrant coral reefs make Watamu Marine National Park a popular diving area. It’s possible to hike or climb 5,199m-tall Mt. Kenya, whose snowy peaks dominate the central highlands. In the west, Lake Nakuru National Park shelters a massive flamingo population. Lamu Island offers tranquil beaches, mosques and tours in the region's typical dhow boats, known for their slanted triangular sails and pointed bows.
Kenya has a warm, temperate climate year-round. Peak travel season is Jul–Oct, due to the dry weather and the migration of wildebeests and zebras into the Masai Mara
