Salisbury
Salisbury (/ˈsɔːlzbri/ SAWLZ-bree, /ˈsɒlzbri/ SOLZ-bree - a cognate of Salzburg, or locally /ˈsɔːzbri/) is a cathedral city in Wiltshire, England, and the only city within the county. It is the second largest settlement in the county by population, between Chippenham at 35,800 and Swindon at 209,156. It has also been called New Sarum /ˌnjuː ˈsɛərəm/ to distinguish it from the original site of settlement to the north of the city at Old Sarum, but this alternative name is not in common use.

Cuestars U21 Snooker Competitions 2018/9
A couple of months ago, I started a personal video project to capture the spirit and environment of talented youngsters as they follow their dreams, and how they’re supported by their family and friends around them.
As part of this project, I’m following young snooker players as they embark on their dream of going professional. Often the first time they’ll compete will be at Cuestars, run by John Hunter. Cuestars provide opportunities for junior players to play on full size tables.
This video shows ten year old Dylan Smith, at his very first ever tournament in Salisbury, where he made it to the final.
Please like and follow me if you’re interested to know more about what it’s like to be young and aiming to win, and be the best.
Cuestars provides opportunities for players of all ages to participate in grass-root snooker tournaments across the South of England.
They run Junior Sections to enable young players to compete on full size tables. No mean feat when you're pint-sized!
Players are taught the basics, shown how to conduct themselves in a snooker club environment, and are introduced to competition play. It's a great safe place to develop as a snooker player.

Big Bath City Bid
Bath City Football Club has - for too long - made the mistake of not getting out there and selling itself - says a man who hasn't let defeat in the political sphere get in the way of helping to achieve victory in a more sporting one.
More info BigBathCityBid.org.uk
Steve Bradley was the Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Bath and fell victim to the national rout his party suffered in the recent elections.
The city has gone 'blue' and - instead - Steve has turned his hand to supporting the 'black and whites.'
He is spokesperson for the Big Bath City Bid - a group of supporters and local people who have come together to try and see through a members-led, community-owned future for the city's Twerton-based 125 year old football club.
