Hiking Orange County, California - Irvine Regional Park to Santiago Oaks Regional Park
This video shows the major hiking trail markers and scenery when hiking from Irvine Regional Park to Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange County, California. Hiking between Irvine Regional and Santiago Oaks is a great way to enjoy two of the best parks in OC.
Santiago Oaks Regional Park
Santiago Oaks Regional Park is a nature lover's paradise that still remains open to hikers, bikers, families and outdoor enthusiasts despite its many burned areas.
Although Fullerton's regional parks were left untouched by the Canyon Fire 2 back in October 2017, Santiago Oaks, located in East Orange, was one of the parks damaged in the fire. Natural recovery is already underway. In fact, land managers are working to reopen all of the park's trails for public access as soon as it is safe and feasible for visitors and habitat.

Santiago Oaks Regional Park Wedding Video | Rachel + Logan
Another one of our own here at Prince Weddings tied the knot! Rachel, our previous Assistant Event and Marketing Coordinator and one of our cinematographers, asked us to capture her and Logan's special day. It's always so much fun to be part of one of our team's weddings and we are so happy for Rachel and her husband, Logan. The ceremony was held at the Santiago Oaks Regional Park, which was beautifully decorated by the bridal party and coordinator. After some photos (and a surprise visit from a goat), everyone headed to The District Lounge in Orange. While Alex Morgan captured the day on photos, Nathan Prince and Elizabeth got the rest on video. Both Logan and Rachel were amazing to work with - and we absolutely loved having Rachel around! While we miss here over here at the office, she's out with Logan pursuing her career and enjoying married life alongside their two cats. We couldn't be happier! Thank you so much for all of the hard work, Rachel! We're glad you were part of our lives here at Prince Productions. Good luck with everything and enjoy your video!

Irvine and the Santiago Oaks all wired up.
#VIRBAdventures Trying out the Garmin VIRB camera for the first time. Also the first time I mounted a video camera on the handlebars. The VIRB editing software is pretty good. Handlebar mounting is not so good as the microphone picks up all of the mechanical sounds a mountain bike makes.

Gravel Biking - Lost in Irvine - Orange County
Gravel bike riding in West Irvine quickly bleeds into Newport Beach. While Orange County riding is generally not cruisy or chill. The connector trail (Sandy Canyon) is way more mellow when compared to other fireroads in Newport. But make no mistake, you'll have to earn your turns. Get ready to get some.
The main purpose of this ride was to explore some new areas and do a quick review of my Outvit saddlebag. It's crazy low profile and does not bounce or sway. You should get one.
Also, before any legitimate gravel ride one must snag a cold brew coffee from the local spot. In this video, the coffee shop of choice is Steelhead in Long Beach. It's never Too Shreddy at Steelhead.
