The Cinder Track Whitby To Scarborough Bike Ride
Part one of a bike ride from Whitby to Wakefield. In this video is the journey from Whitby in North Yorkshire along The Cinder Track into Scarborough. Filmed on a camera mounted on the handle bars.
The whole trip was spread out over a weekend camping along the way.
UK The Cinder Track
This is a 23 Mile, 34km hike from Whitby to Scarborough along an old abandoned railway track. Easy gradient track that can be split into smaller hiking trips with tea rooms in some of the old station. There is bike hire and accommodation in some old railway carriages along the track.

SCARBOROUGH | Sightseeing in Scarborough, England ????????????
SCARBOROUGH | Sightseeing in Scarborough, England ????????????
Afternoon open top bus ride along Scarborough seafront, taking in all the sights such as Scarborough beach, The Grand Hotel, Scarborough Castle, the lighthouse, the harbour where you can see the boats, and more.
Scarborough is a resort town on England’s North Sea coast. Its 2 bays with sandy beaches are split by a headland bearing the 12th-century Scarborough Castle. The Victorian Central Tramway funicular train links the town centre with South Bay and its harbour. The Rotunda Museum explores local coastal geology. Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary’s marine displays and the Peasholm Park Japanese gardens are behind North Bay.
From the rugged rocky headland and colourful seaside traditions of the South Bay, to the bright beach huts of the award-winning sandy North Bay, Scarborough has all the ingredients you need for a classic beachside break.
Scarborough is the original seaside resort; stunning scenery, glorious beaches, loads to see and do – is it any wonder that people have been flocking to Scarborough for nearly 400 years now?
You can still immerse yourself in Scarborough's history with Scarborough Castle and the Rotunda Museum of geology. You could venture down to the seafront to enjoy the traditional amusement arcades, ice cream parlours, shellfish stalls and beach huts.
Outdoor adventures can be found in numbers: try boating in Peasholm Park; take a ride on the miniature railway; be daring on the Sky Trail Adventure bridge and beam course; splash about at the world class Alpamare Waterpark and make friends with the penguins at Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary.
But despite its rich history, Scarborough doesn’t live in the past. The town is constantly innovating to keep its place as one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK.

It would mean a lot and motivate me to keep on creating!
We head off on this morning walk Northwards along the North Bay towards the Grand Hotel
Along the way we pass the harbourside gift shop where you can pick up all kinds of quaint and unique gifts and holiday souvenirs, as well as Mutiny Bar which is a lovely Scarborough pub (where had a fantastic breakfast before filming this Scarborough walk!)
Also on our route is The Anchor fish and chips restaurant which has a real life huge anchor outside on the pavement (a great photo opportunity if you're visiting Scarborough)
A little further down the North Bay we see the King Richard III pub and restaurant where it's believed the King stayed in 1484 whilst on naval duty
As we cross East Sandgate there's the quaintly named Newcastle Packet pub opposite the Princess Cafe where I like to go for a fish and chips lunch where you can enjoy a great view of Scarborough lighthouse and harbour.
Our walk continues past the Lord Nelson pub, the RNLI lifeboat house, Scarborough beach and the Scarborough Terror Tower where you can visit the film sets from the biggest horror movies ever made! (we've always been too scared to go in!)
We pass the former site of the famous Futurist Theatre (the theatre has been knocked down and lost now) and then come onto Scarborough tram and the Grand Hotel where we end our walk
Don't forget to press like on the video, leave a comment and most importantly of all please subscribe to our channel for more great video walks!

Trail Hoppin' - Scarborough (Ep 2)
George and Lew couldn't make it to the trails for this episode, so they filmed around a town instead so Trail Hoppin' goes to Scarborough! Unusual, but is it better than a trail?
