Lyrics:
Don't think I can't feel that there's something wrong
You've been the sweetest part of my life for so long
I look in your eyes, there's a distant light
And you and I know there'll be a storm tonight
This is getting serious
Are you thinking 'bout you or us?
Don't say what you're about to say
Look back before you leave my life
Be sure before you close that door
Before you roll those dice
Baby, think twice
Baby, think twice for the sake of our love, for the memory
For the fire and the faith that was you and me
Babe, I know it ain't easy when your soul cries out for a higher ground
'Cause when you're half-way up, you're always half-way down
But, baby, this is serious
Are you thinking 'bout you or us?
Are you thinking 'bout you or us?
Don't say what you're about to say
Look back before you leave my life
Be sure before you close that door
Before you roll those dice
Baby, think twice
Baby, this is serious (this is serious)
Are you thinking 'bout you or us, baby?
Don't say what you're about to say
(no, no, no, no)
Look back before you leave my life
(don't leave my life)
Be sure before you close that door
Before you roll those dice
Baby, think twice
Don't do what you're about to do
My everything depends on you
(I depend on you)
Whatever it takes, I'll sacrifice
Before you roll those dice
(Don't you remember? Oh, don't you remember?)
Don't say what you're about to say
Be sure before you leave my life
(don't leave my life)
Be sure before you close that door
Before you roll those dice
Baby, think twice
Best Street Art Techniques That Go Beyond the Limits of the Ordinary
Unleash your entire artistic potential through our Street Art techniques. Most of the modern street artists test different exceptional techniques of fine art to make a name and place on the list of the most famous and extravagant creators. They break the conventional boundaries, experiment boldly and create new styles by creating abstract shapes and unique color combinations! All the attention is focused on these special masterpieces that challenge our perceptions - this is how art history is always being rewritten! Creative and innovative ideas count the most when designing new visual pleasures! This proves that nothing is impossible!
Street Art Techniques - Anamorphosis
Subcribe:
The correct point of view is the essence of this art form. Hard to believe, or ...?
Under anamorphosis is meant a synthetic technique whereby the images produced are of course only from a certain viewing angle. In some cases, the actual meaning of the corresponding artwork is encrypted in its mirror image! Thanks to the Italian genius Leonardo da Vinci and his numerous projects and original ideas, the world knows this art form since the 15th century! The most interesting modern example is the sg anamorphosic typography of the young British graphic designers Joseph Egan and Hunter Tompson.
Fotorealism or how art and reality merge into a whole
Simply amazing!
Since the 1960s, the photographers have been striving to create a new reality - their works look so realistic that they are often confused with real-life photos. By recording everyday scenes with a camera and then copying everything down to the smallest detail, the artists achieve a truly amazing result. Richard Estes, Audrey Flack, Chuck Close and the sculptor Duane Hanson are among the most famous photographers worldwide. However, this art direction suffers from fierce criticism, since it is not possible here to determine which is the leading factor - the imitativeness or creative style and original ideas.
Street art techniques - illustrations on dirty cars
Street Art Techniques - Even the dirt can turn into a masterpiece in the right hands
The 52-year-old graphic designer, sculptor and illustrator Scott Wade from Texas inspire everyone around him, turning the dirty car windows into real art. He does not need a canvas or a dye, but simply the deposited dust at the car windows! When Scott came home after a hard day's work, he drew a few figures on the dirty surface of his car, but this doodle could not be deciphered. After a while he was able to tell exciting stories through his pictures and to express inner worlds - so he became the main defender of this new style in the art and quickly found many successors! Although he devotes a lot of time to his unusual projects, they leave with the first rain drops.
Three-dimensional as well as two-dimensional
What shoud that? A photo, a painting or maybe a real person?
In the works of the famous American artist Alexa Meade, the real life passes into a beautiful and richly colored painting. These are portrait paintings in which a real living person is placed somewhere in the picture. Sounds interesting but also confusing, right? Actually, Meade paints the bodies of her models with acrylic paints and creates an amazing effect of optical illusion - the dredimensional representations look like two-dimensional! Only uncoated body parts such as hair and eyes betray the viewer, where reality ceases and art begins. This art is a balanced combination of painting, photography, illustration and performance and will certainly deprive you of your breath!
Street art techniques - art from shadows
These artists bring different objects or persons into certain positions to create interesting figures from their shadows. In addition, of course, you also need the right lighting to achieve the desired effect and put everyone in wonder! It is true that the painter's talent for the artist in question does not play a role at all, but rich imagination is necessary! Passion, skill and dedication are three more requirements!
Then we give you the opportunity to get close to the world of art! Have fun!
Street Art Techniques - The Swiss artist Felice Varini became famous worldwide for his anamorphosis art

SUMMARY
=======
James Abbott McNeill Whistler (; July 11, 1834 – July 17, 1903) was an American artist, active during the American Gilded Age and based primarily in the United Kingdom. He was averse to sentimentality and moral allusion in painting, and was a leading proponent of the credo art for art's sake. His famous signature for his paintings was in the shape of a stylized butterfly possessing a long stinger for a tail. The symbol was apt, for it combined both aspects of his personality: his art is characterized by a subtle delicacy, while his public persona was combative. He found a parallel between painting and music and entitled many of his paintings arrangements, harmonies, and nocturnes, emphasizing the primacy of tonal harmony. His most famous painting is Arrangement in Grey and Black No. 1 (1871), commonly known as Whistler's Mother, the revered and often parodied portrait of motherhood. Whistler influenced the art world and the broader culture of his time with his artistic theories and his friendships with leading artists and writers.

SUMMARY
=======
Art Nouveau (; French: [aʁ nuvo]) is an international style of art, architecture and applied art, especially the decorative arts, known in different languages by different names: Jugendstil in German, Stile Liberty in Italian, Modernisme in Catalan, etc. In English it is also known as the Modern Style (not to be confused with Modernism and Modern architecture). The style was most popular between 1890 and 1910. It was a reaction against the academic art, eclecticism and historicism of 19th century architecture and decoration. It was often inspired by natural forms such as the sinuous curves of plants and flowers. Other characteristics of Art Nouveau were a sense of dynamism and movement, often given by asymmetry or whiplash curves, and the use of modern materials, particularly iron, glass, ceramics and later concrete, to create unusual forms and larger open spaces. One major objective of Art Nouveau was to break down the traditional distinction between fine arts (especially painting and sculpture) and applied arts. It was most widely used in interior design, graphic arts, furniture, glass art, textiles, ceramics, jewelry and metal work. The style responded to leading 19-century theoreticians, such as French architect Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc (1814–1879) and British art critic John Ruskin (1819–1900). In Britain, it was influenced by William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement. German architects and designers sought a spiritually uplifting Gesamtkunstwerk (“total work of art”) that would unify the architecture, furnishings, and art in the interior in a common style, to uplift and inspire the residents. The first Art Nouveau houses and interior decoration appeared in Brussels in the 1890s, in the architecture and interior design of houses designed by Paul Hankar, Henry Van de Velde, and especially Victor Horta, whose Hôtel Tassel was completed in 1893. It moved quickly to Paris, where it was adapted by Hector Guimard, who saw Horta's work in Brussels and applied the style for the entrances of the new Paris Metro. It reached its peak at the 1900 Paris Internationa ...

Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne | Audio book with subtitles
Around the World in Eighty Days (version 2) Read by Mark F. Smith.
Jules VERNE , translated by UNKNOWN ( - )
Mysterious Phileas Fogg is a cool customer. A man of the most repetitious and punctual habit - with no apparent sense of adventure whatsoever - he gambles his considerable fortune that he can complete a journey around the world in just 80 days... immediately after a newspaper calculates the feat as just barely possible.
With his excitable French manservant in tow, Fogg undertakes the exercise immediately, with no preparations, trusting that his traveling funds will make up for delays along the way. But unbeknownst to him, British police are desperately seeking to arrest him for the theft of a huge sum by someone who resembles him, and they will track him around the world, if necessary, to apprehend him.
This is an adventure novel of the first water, with wholly unexpected perils, hair-breadth escapes, brilliant solutions to insoluble problems, and even a love story. And can this be? - That he returns to London just five minutes too late to win his wager and retain his fortune? (Summary by Mark F. Smith)

University Challenge S45E34 Newcastle vs St John's - Oxford
The last of the quarterfinals, we have St John's College, Oxford fighting for the last place against Newcastle University. Too bad one of them has to go, but they've been great (but not necessarily in this one). Many wasted science questions (with St John's scraping the bottom of what is a small barrel to start with) and an unanswered limit questions (Harries needs to go to maths class, apparently)!
