London: Serpentine boating and Southbank Starflyer
Welcome to another quick vlog from us during this wonderful and ever-lasting heatwave that the UK is experiencing right now.
Weather warnings advising not to go out during the midday sun, so what did I do?
Well, we started off with a short walk through Hyde Park to get to the Boathouse on the Serpentine to hire a Pedalo boat. The prices werent to costly, adult price was £10pp for 30 minutes or £12pp for a full hour with family prices (2 adults and 2 children) from £24. This was really worth while and a great side attraction to do during your visit. Maybe wait until the city isn't like an oven! I will certainly be doing that again.
After we circled the lake, we hopped on a bus down Oxford Street and popped into John Lewis for a quick bite on floor 5 and a drink on the roof garden upstairs. Prices again weren't to bad, all be it £11 for two pints. Be aware, it does get busy during the day and especially as office workers start leaving.
We attempted to get into Aqua Spirit near Regent Street, upon walking in to the bar, we turned back around as it was a rather high end, suits and evening dresses at every corner. So instead, we jumped on yet another bus and went down to the Thames!
As we could feel our selves melting into the seat, we decided to leave the bus and walk across the bridge where we spotted the StarFlyer just next to the London Eye on the Southbank. So we decided to take a ride, and then we decided to take another ride! That was £8pp for the ride.
We hope you enjoyed the vlog, we have listed some links below to the different attractions we visited!

The River Thames (pronounced /ˈtɛmz/ ( listen) temz) is a major river flowing through southern England.
While it is best known because its lower reaches flow through central London, the river flows alongside several other towns and cities, including Oxford, Reading, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, Kingston upon Thames and Richmond.
The river gives its name to several geographical and political entities including the Thames Valley, a region of England centred around the river between Oxford and west London.
The Thames Gateway, the area centred around the tidal Thames, and the Thames Estuary to the east of London.
