SO MUCH RAMEN! Ramen Museum, Yokohama - Japan Vlog
Try ramen from all over Japan at the Ramen Museum in Yokohama. It's not really a museum - just a lot of ramen restaurants! They serve half-size portions so you can try lots of different types, including tonkotsu ramen, shio ramen and they also serve vegetarian and non-pork versions.
The Ramen Museum is in Yokohama, which is a great day trip from Tokyo, just 30-45 minutes by train from Shinjuku. In the same day we also went to the Cup Noodles Museum - it was a noodle themed day!

Welcome to Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum 5m
Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum was founded on March 6th, 1994 as the world's first food-themed amusement park. From the start, our concept has been to be the one-stop place to enjoy the flavors of this national dish from renowned shops across Japan without stepping on a plane. To commemorate our 20th anniversary, we've expanded on the Japan-wide concept to being one that covers areas worldwide, delivering even more of the attraction and fascination of ramen to one and all. Our nine ramen shops are showcased in a street-scape replication from the year 1958, Japan. It was in this year that the world's first instant ramen was invented.

The Best Bowls of Ramen EVER | Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum
Ramen is everywhere in Tokyo and all of Japan. It is a massive food culture here. If you are visiting Japan for a holiday you will most likely wanna try this beautiful noodle soup. But which do you choose? There are so many different types and styles: Shoyu, Shio, Miso, Tonkotsu! The shin yokohama has a selection of the best ramen from not only around tokyo but also around the whole world.
Definitely one of our biggest recommendation is the shin yokohama ramen museum as the price is so low and the amount of ramen they offer allows you to try so many different styles of ramen that you cant get anywhere else, or that you might not find elsewhere.

We tried to eat as many variations of ramen here at the ramen museum but we can only handle so much! Perhaps this is the first ramen challenge at a ramen museum!
We travel to Yokohama and explore the Chinatown district, where I also sample shark fin soup for the first time! I don't condone shark finning but I do want to try everything at least once, so I went ahead and did. Watch the VLOG to know what I thought of it!

Greetings and salutations!
I found myself in the heart of shin-yokohama hungry and looking for some place to check out. I happened to bump into the Yokohama Ramen Museum. Boy oh boy, was I surprised by what I saw inside. I say it in the video but it EPCOT wanted to retheme it's Japan pavilion in world showcase, this would be an excellent reference point. Absolutely incredible! About Yukendoit.
Welcome! What you are looking at is a former Universal Studios, Halloween Horror Night, Walt Disney World actor/worker youtuber here. I really want to show the world to you! I was pretty inspired by Adamthewoo to get out and start making videos, and now I've left America to do just that. Now I'm out in Osaka, Japan. Living daily life in Japan. But I make adventure videos of exploring strange Japanese locations, theme parks like Universal Studios Japan, and generally showing off life as an American Abroad Jvlogging in Japan. As well I like to make Jvlogs about life in Japan. As I am a former scareactor at Halloween Horror Nights in Florida, I am very interested in the strange side of Japanese culture. Ghosts, Yokai, the Japanese equivlent of Oujia boards, abandoned Japanese buildings, and Japanese haunted houses like the one at Fuji Q Highland it's the longest one in the world!
Why the name Yukendoit? Well I think that you can do it! I'm currently teaching English in Japan and I love it. Patreon patreon.com/yukendoit

YOKOHAMA, Japan: Nissan Stadium, Ramen Museum, Cup Noodles Museum | Vlog 5
Yokohama, Japan is well known for soccer (or football ????) and ramen. In this video, you see the most famous attractions in both fields. In Shin-Yokohama, we visit the Nissan Stadium (also known as Yokohama Stadium), and the Ramen Museum, where you can try some of the best ramen bowls you'll ever have. Food in Japan is always delicious!
The Nissan Stadium is famous for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Final and is often used for major events in Japan. In 2020, it will also host Olympic soccer matches. Now that the Rugby World Cup is over, stadium visits have resumed.
From the Ramen Museum, we went to the Cup Noodles Museum, back in Minato Mirai 21, where you can learn about Momofuku Ando, the creator of instant ramen noodles, the history of instant ramen and cupnoodles. We closed the day visiting the mall across the street, World Porters, and enjoying the view from the Ferris wheel at Cosmo World.
Yokohama is perfect for a Tokyo day trip, but my advice? Stay longer ????
Yokohama is located in the Tokyo metro area and has one of the most beautiful waterfronts in Japan. In this series of videos, you will keep watching a detailed Yokohama, Japan tour, including a lot of things to do.

► WHO AM I?
Short answer: I am a Brazilian journalist living in the United States. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
Detailed answer: ????
P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely camera shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ;-)

Our BIG RAMEN TOUR of JAPAN! Trying local ramen in 7 different cities + Shin Yokohama RAMEN MUSEUM
Very probably my favourite activity in Japan: discovering types of ramen I didn't even know existed! To be clear, I am not normally even that big on the usual styles that are available in the west, but this tour of Ramen shops has totally opened my eyes! So many new flavours, so many unexpected combinations! What's your favourite ramen style?

Things to do in Yokohama : Day Trip Travel Guide
We took a day trip from Tokyo to visit the beautiful city of Yokohama for a food adventure.
We checked out the Kirin Brewery, the Cup Noodle Museum and the Ramen Museum.
The Kirin Brewery tour is free and you get to learn all about how Kirin Beer is made. There is also an opportunity to sample the different beers available
The Cupnoodle museum was a lot of fun. You get to learn about the history of instant ramen, and cup noodles and learn about the life of Momofuku Ando. You also get to make your own cup noodle
Our last stop was the Ramen Museum. The museum is decorated to look like a city block from 1958, the year instant ramen was invented. We sampled half sized ramen from three different and delicious places.
The waterfront also very beautiful place to spend an afternoon. The walkway is lined with wonderful Sakura trees and you get a nice view of the city.

The Ramen Museum - Yokohama, Japan
This video captures the amazing 1958 street-scape environment that is replicated at the Ramen museum, located in Yokohama, Japan.

This video features ramen from Ganso Najima-tei, which is popular with the locals who are particularly fussy about their pork bone ramen. Opened in 1987, Najima-tei quickly earned an solid reputation in Kyushu, the spiritual home of pork bone ramen, and is now spectacularly popular in downtown Hakata.
At Najima-tei, the rich, mellow broth is lovingly prepared in a special pot known as a chikurogama. It takes a minimum of two days to perfect the broth. The very thin but firm noodles, meanwhile, are a specialty of Nagahama.

We visited the Shin Yokohama Ramen Museum for lunch | Japan Travel Guide
We visited the Shin Yokohama Ramen Museum for lunch and it was an amazing ramen marathon eating experience! The museum starts at ground level with a modern overview of the history of Ramen in Japan showing all the different types of ramen from various regions. Once you delve into the basement of the museum you are transported back in time to an ancient Japanese town with billboards and decor all set to look like an old town in Japan. From here you can experience 9 different types of Ramen from different regions around the country. Each of the 9 different types will change every once and a while so Ramen covered in the video may not exist in the museum anymore upon visiting. You can try half sized Ramen from each spot in order to give you the best chance of sampling each regions Ramen. Unfortunately, we only made it through 4 spots before throwing int the towel. The main advice I would give is try each different type of Ramen if you can in order to gain a full experience. So try a Salt, Shoyu, Miso, and any other unique type of Ramen. That way you get to sample the real variety that Japan has to offer.
Feel free to drop any questions you may have about this experience in the COMMENTS below.
