We were just walking through Shoreham Farmers Market on 14th April 2012 and saw this very entertaining group of people performing the Lindy Hop or Jitterbug.
They are Crazy for Swing and the meet on Mondays at
St Giles Church Hall, Shoreham, Sussex

She Rides to Shoreham Xmas Food Festival & Market 8Dec12
She Rides are cycle rides for the women of Brighton & Hove, led by trained ride leaders. All rides start and finish in Brighton / Hove, or from a train station that is easy and quick to get to by train from Brighton.
The 8 December ride was led by Lucy, and took us up the Dyke Road before climbing over Devils Dyke, dropping down the other side of the South Downs, then following the line of the Downs west through the villages of Poynings, Fulking, and Edburton. The Downs Link Way then took us along the banks of the Adur River to Shoreham, where there was a Christmas Food & Drink Festival, with Farmer's Market.
After hot chocolate and snacks in Shoreham (plus a little Xmas shopping at the market), we rode back to Brighton along the seafront road and cycle path.
She Ride routes vary in length and range from those suitable for any ability to those for more experienced cyclists who are confident in busy traffic or on off-road trails.

Saturday 8th December 2012 saw five steam specials running around the country, my video follows the two of them which ran through Sussex and Surrey, BOB no.34067 'Tangmere' with a RYTC tour from Three Bridges to Bristol and return via Haywards Heath-Hove-Chichester and Bath and MN no.35028 'Clan Line' with a VSOE Surrey Hills Luncheon around the usual route London Victoria-Staines-Woking-Guildford-Redhill-London Victoria.
The video starts at Batchelors Farm Bridge, just south of Burgess Hill as Tangmere heads down the Brighton Main Line, we then move to Shoreham-by-Sea to catch the tour cross the River Adur. Moving on to Clan Line we start at Mayford and the bridge over Hook Hill Lane and then move on to Gomshall in the last of the light to catch Clan Line on the climb through the hills. Finally it is back to Tangmere and the final part of the return leg, climbing up Balcombe bank through the station.
