Visited the Trader mill and received a very warm welcome, and a guided tour to make a video. Highly recommended for an afternoon outing.

Windmills of Lincolnshire: Sibsey Windmill - Trader Mill
This video documents Sibsey Trader Mill at Sibsey in Lincolnshire as it looks today. Me and my sister have had a lifelong interest in tall and interesting buildings such as windmills, and aim to continue to go round many of the windmills in the region and other counties in England.
Sibsey Trader Mill is one of few six-sailed mills in the country and was built in 1877 to replace an earlier post mill. It is 74ft tall and in full working order, with an exquisitely detailed wrought iron balcony. Today the windmill is open to the public all year round on certain days of the week and is a grade I listed building.

SIBSEY TRADER MILL
A six-sailed windmill, not working on the day we visited, but interesting anyway. The man in charge buys and repairs (and sells) old clocks as a hobby, and the low building you can just make out to the right of the windmill is a tea-room-cum-clock emporium!

Windmills of Lincolnshire: Moulton Windmill

Moulton Windmill at 100ft tall is the tallest windmill in the UK and was built in 1822. In recent years it has undergone significant restoration work and is open to the public as a visitors attraction. In recent years it featured on the television programme Restoration, hosted by Griff Rhys Jones.

NUTLEY WINDMILL AND STATIONARY ENGINE DISPLAY
This is the first time I've displayed here with the Sussex & Kent Weald Stationary Engine Group, but a very enjoyable day indeed. Although there has only been a mill on this site since the late 1820s, the Post of this mill dates back to the times of Henry VIII but has possibly supported 5 different mills in its lifetime. A very nice place to sit down and have a cream tea when walking the many trails that run across Ashdown forest.

One evening in 1991, Liz Ibbotson saw a number of coloured spheres performing something of an aerial ballet in the sky above her garden in Sibsey, Lincs.
Mrs Ibbotson was puzzled by what she saw, yet stayed calm as she watched the curious display, that was until the point when one of the orbs suddenly broke away and zoomed up close to the farmhouse where she lives.
There were numerous other witnesses to the event also, including several people at a nearby public house.
To this day, no proper explanation has been offered to explain the mystery.
