Get to Know NOAA Looking Back, Looking Forward
Speaker: Cheryl Oliver, Director, NOAA Heritage Program, NOAA Office of Communications
Abstract: The history of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the United States are intertwined. NOAA’s roots date back to 1807, when Thomas Jefferson established the nation’s first scientific agency, the Survey of the Coast. Since then, NOAA has evolved to meet the needs of a changing country. NOAA maintains a presence in every state and has emerged as an international leader on scientific and environmental matters. Learn more about the agency's beginnings and how the NOAA Heritage Program and you can be a part of advancing this story through events, projects and exhibits. Learn about the upcoming NOAA 50th Anniversary Campaign that will be launched in early 2020!
About the Speaker: Cheryl Oliver is with the NOAA Office of Communications and the Director of the NOAA Heritage Program. The program includes an annual NOAA Heritage Week celebration, NOAA Open House on the NOAA Silver Spring Campus, an internal “mini grant” program and a traveling Treasures of NOAA’s Ark exhibit – currently on exhibition at the NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory located at the David Skaggs Research Center in Boulder, CO, its 14th venue in as many years. Cheryl is a 4th generation Washingtonian (DC), 2nd generation NOAA employee and married a (now retired) NOAA colleague as well!

Driving Through Independence Avenue in Washington DC, US ( Lots of Famous Buildings)
Independence Avenue is a major east-west street in the southwest and southeast quadrants of the city of Washington, D.C., in the United States, running just south of the United States Capitol.
Between 14th Street SW and 2nd Street SW, Independence Avenue is lined with museums and federal office buildings. On the north side of the street (west to east) are the U.S. Department of Agriculture's headquarters (the Jamie L. Whitten Federal Building), the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery (both art museums belonging to the Smithsonian Institution), the Smithsonian Institution Building, the National Museum of African Art, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of the American Indian, and the United States Botanic Garden. On the south side of the street (west to east) are the Department of Agriculture's South Building, the James V. Forrestal Building (headquarters of the United States Department of Energy), the Wilbur Wright Federal Building and the Orville Wright Federal Building (headquarters of the Federal Aviation Administration), the Wilbur J. Cohen Federal Building (occupied by the United States Department of Health and Human Services [HHS]), and the Hubert H. Humphrey Building (headquarters of HHS).
At 2nd Street SW, Independence Avenue SW meets Washington Avenue SW, a major thoroughfare providing access to Interstate 395 and South Capitol Street.
Independence Avenue SW/SE forms the southern boundary of the grounds of the United States Capitol. The Capitol is to the north of the street, while the Cannon, Longworth, and Rayburn House Office Buildings are to the south. Past the Capitol, Independence Avenue SE passes between the Library of Congress' Thomas Jefferson Building (north) and James Madison Memorial Building (south). The last major building along the avenue is the Library of Congress' John Adams Building (north), where Independence Avenue SE has a junction with Pennsylvania Avenue SE.

Washington, D.C., formally the District of Columbia and commonly referred to as Washington or D.C., is the capital of the United States.[4] Founded after the American Revolution as the seat of government of the newly independent country, Washington was named after George Washington, the first president of the United States and a Founding Father.[5] As the seat of the United States federal government and several international organizations, Washington is an important world political capital.[6] The city is also one of the most visited cities in the world, with more than 20 million tourists annually.

Manifesto For The Ozark Plateau Part 4 of 11
I put this thumbnail here because I did not get back to what I saw during my lecture on the raised relief CONUS Topo Map I was improvising from. At 6:19, I saw something that just jumped out at me. The map is colored by terrain -topographical land elevation. If you were to Color all that green area BLUE -the color used for water on maps -along the East Coast, and north from the Gulf -and you have the US Navy Map...or Stan Deyo's map. So the thumbnail I picked here is Stan Deyo's Future Map of America.
or
It shows what will happen if ocean levels were to rise. Actually, with the river basins all around it (look at Google Earth and hold the cursor and read the elevation above Sea Level throughout the river beds all around it,) The OzArk Plateau could be an Island once again, like geologists say it was in the past. They say that there is a coral reef around it!!!...)
Look at the map I put up as the Thumbnail for Part 3;
or here;
Then compare those to the US Navy Map:
Then...watch this Video!!!
In event of a New Mad Quake, the Mississippi may be 35 to 100 miles wide. There would be NO Bridges. Read my post on that; those insane looking maps from Cayce, Scallion, US Navy, etc, could well have been based on hard core science rather than visions of occultic and new age channelers. I seriously doubt that the US Navy map is such. They use science. They validate the bible's verses for which people have mocked christians for centuries -the four corners of the earth.
(see my post on Six Reasons Why The Ozarks Are The Best Bug Out Location (BOL)
Just a bit from it:
I reworked this article...and you might note the connection between two mentions of the US Navy:
ONE, The Ominous and Infamous US Navy Map...
and TWO the report discussed in section 6 -which was commissioned by the US Navy, reported & subsequently buried.
It dates all the way back to June 19, 1965 edition of Science Newsletter (#87:390) which is titled, “Earth Has Four Corners.”
Quoting from this article, which was recovered from microfilm at the Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak Library, we read the following:
“The Earth has four corners, measurements made of earth-circling satellites have shown…The four-cornered, or pyramid-like, design was found by calculating the changes in the orbits of globe-girdling satellites.
At the center of the high points, the satellites were pulled downward a few hundred feet by the unexpectedly high gravity…
The new figure for earth was found by scientists at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Silver Spring, Md., working under a contract for the U.S. Navy’s Bureau of Naval Weapons.”
Do you think perhaps the US Navy think tanks have a very solid and scientific reason for preferring the Ozarks to other parts of the country which are known to be sitting on top of a thin, geologically unstable crust which is subject to change via earthquakes, volcanoes, etc? Hmmm????
For Those Who Wonder Why The US Navy Has a Most Peculiar Map Showing The U.S. Split In Two, &
Tells Retiring Pentagon & Special Forces To Go To The Ozarks...You Owe It To Yourself To Read This!!!
I have a question; Do you believe that you believe the Bible?
Twice in scripture, a phrase is used; the four corners of the earth.
What is a corner? Kanaph (hebrew) Canopy? Cornucopia? Cornice? A MOUNDED, OR RAISED AREA...
This may seem strange to some, but in the bible, twice it speaks of the four corners of the earth
Isa 11:12 And he...shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
In the second one, it includes a connection to four angels:
Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
This will happen; if it happens as described below, there will be no safe coastline in America.
A couple hundred miles inland, and 800 feet elevation might be advisable.
Hmmm...something like a really large Plateau which actually -according to geologists -used to be an island for a few million years?
