Bariloche in Argentina is located at the northern end of the region Patagonia and serves as the perfect gateway to start our adventure. Surrounded by lakes and situated close to the Andes you can go for big variety of activities. While it is one of the largest ski ressorts in South America in winter it turns into a hikers paradise in summer.
Rather than hanging out in the city itself we used it as a base to drive around the 7 lakes, hike & camp to the Tronador and climbed our way up to Frey, Cerro Campanario and Catedral. With this we can give you a bigger picture of the area and you can easily use this video as a Bariloche Guide for your own trip!
This part of the trip was executed within 1,5 weeks by using the local buses and a well planned itinerary after we flew in from Buenos Aries - following I list all the places we visited & Things to do in Bariloche:
- Chocolateria Rapa Nui
- Cerro Campanario
- San Martin de los Andes
- Circuito de los 7 Lagos
- Villa La Angostura
- Center of Bariloche
- Villa Catedral
- Cerro Catedral
- Refugio Frey
- Refugio Otto Meiling
- Cerro Tronador
- Pampa Linda
- Glaciar Castaño Overo
I'm excited to share all our experiences in Patagonia over the course of the next 8 weeks with you. In the next episodes we will Hitchhike the Carretera Austral, trek through the most impressive mountain ranges, ice hike over the glaciers of the southern Patagonian Icefield and meet impressive characters along the way.
The Patagonian Expedition is a 95% self funded video documentary project following my trip in 2012/2013. Our aim is to show you the beauty of the rather unknown parts in Patagonia alongside with the famous spots.
Beside beautiful landscape you can expect loads of information and our personal experiences and struggles along the way.

HARRY COOPER: THE 4TH REICH & AUTHOR OF HITLER IN ARGENTINA STILL ALIVE AFTER WWII
I will be interviewing Harry Cooper on Friday December 1st at 1pm PT.
Harry Cooper served for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and 12 years Coast Guard (Aux.) and was a Flotilla Commander.
He has written 21 books and we talk about his bestselling book HITLER IN ARGENTINA with documented evidence that Hitler was still alive long after WWII.
Short bio written by Harry Cooper:
I am the world's foremost expert on the history of the German U-Boats and now also on the escape of Adolf Hitler. Unlike other researcher/writers who read a few documents and other people's books to produce their own book, which are almost always just their theories without proof or substance - I read the documents then I go where the history was made. I go to Germany and Austria on average two times each year since 1988 and have been to South America nine times in the past eight years where I take photos of these historic places and interview people who were there and give me first-hand information. I have just been contacted by a major television production company in Buenos Aires who will fly me down there to do a documentary on the tragic loss of the submarine ARA SAN JUAN and I have another fact-finding expedition scheduled in March 2018 to Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Paraguay. We are peeling back the layers like onion skin - peel back one layer and another is there with questions waiting to be answered.
Our biggest advantage lies in the fact that we have several thousand Members in 77 countries and many are active or retired Intel people. They are my eyes and ears in various locations to lay the groundwork and take me to the people who have the first-hand history.

Splitboarding in the Pursuit of Happiness | A New Zealand Freeride Story, Ep. 5
Splitboarding is transforming how snowboarders access the backcountry by making it easier to traverse and gain ground in hard to reach places. The problem is that now you have no excuse to not ride all those hard-to-reach spots. The point is brought home for Colin in this episode as he finds himself moving across terrain that requires a little mountaineering and a lot of motivation.
Follow him as he hikes into some remote lines near Bariloche, Argentina, then heads back to New Zealand for a crack at Mr. Brewster. None of the lines in this video are particularly easy to access but that's just the way Colin prefers it. With his splitboard and a pair of skins this is no place he won't go.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Patagonia (Spanish pronunciation: [pataˈɣonja]) is a sparsely populated region at the southern end of South America, shared by Argentina and Chile. The region comprises the southern section of the Andes mountains and the deserts, pampas and grasslands to the east. Patagonia is one of the few regions with coasts on three oceans, with the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Southern Ocean to the south.
The Colorado and Barrancas rivers, which run from the Andes to the Atlantic, are commonly considered the northern limit of Argentine Patagonia. The archipelago of Tierra del Fuego is sometimes included as part of Patagonia. Most geographers and historians locate the northern limit of Chilean Patagonia at Huincul Fault, in Araucanía Region.
