Glasgow is within easy reach of lot of Scotland's famous attractions, including the famous horse head sculpture - The Kelpies, and beautiful Loch Lomond shores. So, I decided to head out for day trips and explore the area around Glasgow. All these places can be reached within an hour from Glasgow and hence are ideal for a day trip.

Is it a Claymore or a Broadsword - History Police 3
The long two handed medieval Scottish sword is commonly referred to as a Claymore. This is not 100% correct as Claymore is derived from the Gaelic Claidheamh-mór - great sword. The long two hander was originally called a Claidheamh dà làimh meaning two handed sword.

Scottish Power wins the 2018 British Championship at Paisley
This is Scottish Power Pipe Band led by Pipe Major Christopher Armstrong competing in the Grade One competition at the RSPBA's British Pipe Band Championships held on St James Playing Fields in Paisley. The band's Lead Drummer is Jake Jørgensen.
The band was placed first in the Grade One competition, making them British Champions for 2018.
