5. RMS Queen Mary
The RMS Queen Mary is an old, retired British ocean liner whose maiden voyage began on May 27, 1936. During the Second World War, she ferried Allied soldiers and worked as a troop ship, but when it was over, she was refitted for use for passengers and was used for transatlantic crossings. Her last voyage, from Southampton to Long Beach, California, happened in 1967, and then the ship was retired, but stayed in Long Beach and became a hotel with a museum and restaurants. Since her docking, there have been rumors of hauntings, and she quickly gained notoriety as a top haunted tourist attraction. The 1st Class pool, a stateroom, and room B-340 are among the supposed hotspots, and familiar ghosts are a lady in white, an engineer who was crushed in the engine room, and several children. Ships are weird enough, but when you add ghosts into the equation, they get downright creepy!
4. Gettysburg
Alright, if this place really is haunted, it would make total sense; we mean, this was the site of one of the most bloody and terrible battles of the Civil War! The Union and Confederate armies began to fight in and around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on July 1, 1863, and did so for three days straight! At the end of the conflict, some 50,000 young men lie on the battlefield, some fatally wounded, some already gone. Many of the soldiers from the Confederate army never got a proper burial, and, without being laid to rest, it’s said that they wander the battlefield to this day. A farm used as a hospital by the Confederates, the Daniel Lady Farm, is supposedly haunted by an entire corps of 10,000 soldiers, as well as General Richard Ewell. The Gettysburg Hotel is supposedly haunted by Union soldiers and a woman who has been seen dancing in the ballroom. The Baladerry Inn and Cashtown Inn are said to be inhabited by ghosts, and visitors can take a ghost train across the battlefield and learn the entire haunted history of the area. It’s basically a whole town chock full of spirits!
3. St. Augustine Lighthouse
This old lighthouse is currently in-service and has been since it was built and lit in 1874. But the current lighthouse is the second, as the first, which was first lit circa 1737, eroded and fell into the sea in 1880. Even before that, the British and Spanish governments had old beacons and watchtowers in the area as far back as 1565, so there’s a lot of history here. An old, passed-on lighthouse keeper is sometimes spotted in spirit form; he died from a fall off the tower while painting it. It’s also said to be haunted by three young girls, who supposedly perished not far from the lighthouse after a cart they were playing with broke and fell into the sea.
2. Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast
The site of one of the most famous and brutal crimes of the 19th century, the Lizzie Borden house is unsurprisingly touted as being the site of a haunting. On August 4, 1892, young Lizzie Borden’s parents were brutally taken out by someone with an ax, and Lizzie quickly became the main suspect. She was eventually acquitted, but that doesn’t mean her house isn’t haunted! The Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast is now operated in the original home of the Bordens, and it is here that people experience a bunch of different paranormal phenomena. Shoes will travel across the floor on their own; a woman is heard weeping at all hours of the night, an older woman will tuck guests into bed, lights flicker, electronic devices act strange, and more! So, if you want a spooky night, head to the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast in Fall River, Massachusetts!

The Highest-Ranking Woman in American History Shares Her Remarkable Story (2003)
The family emigrated from the United Kingdom on the SS America, departing Southampton on November 5, 1948, and arriving at Ellis Island in New York Harbor on November 11, 1948. The family initially settled in Great Neck on Long Island. Korbel applied for political asylum, arguing that as an opponent of Communism, he was under threat in Prague.[24] With the help of Philip Mosely, a professor of Russian at Columbia University in New York City, Korbel obtained a position on the staff of the political science department at the University of Denver in Colorado.[25] He became dean of the university's school of international relations – renamed the Josef Korbel School of International Studies in 2008 – and later taught future U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.[8]
Albright spent her teen years in Denver, and in 1955 graduated from the Kent Denver School in Cherry Hills Village, a suburb of Denver, where she founded the school's international relations club and was its first president.[26] She attended Wellesley College, in Wellesley, Massachusetts, on a full scholarship, majoring in political science, and graduated in 1959.[27] Her senior thesis was written on former Czechoslovakian Prime Minister Zdeněk Fierlinger.[28] She became a U.S. citizen in 1957, and joined the College Democrats of America.[29]
While home in Denver from Wellesley, Albright worked as an intern for The Denver Post, where she met Joseph Medill Patterson Albright, the nephew of Alicia Patterson, owner of Newsday and wife of philanthropist Harry Frank Guggenheim.[30] The couple were married in Wellesley in 1959, shortly after her graduation.[27] They lived first in Rolla, Missouri, while he served his military service at nearby Fort Leonard Wood. During this time, she worked at The Rolla Daily News.[31]
In January 1960, the couple moved to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, where he worked at the Chicago Sun-Times as a journalist, and Albright worked as a picture editor for Encyclopædia Britannica.[32] The following year, Joseph Albright began work at Newsday in New York City, and the couple moved to Garden City on Long Island.[33] That year, she gave birth to twin daughters, Alice Patterson Albright and Anne Korbel Albright. The twins were born six weeks premature and required a long hospital stay, so as a distraction, Albright began Russian classes at Hofstra University in Village of Hempstead, New York.[33]
In 1962, the family moved to Georgetown, and Albright began studying international relations and continued studying Russian at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, a division of Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C..[34] However, in 1963 Alicia Patterson died, and the family returned to Long Island with the notion of Joseph taking over the family business.[35] Albright gave birth to another daughter, Katherine Medill Albright, in 1967, and continued her studies at Columbia University's Department of Public Law and Government[36] (later renamed as the political science department, which is located within the School of International and Public Affairs). She earned a certificate in Russian, a Master of Arts and a PhD, writing her Master's thesis on the Soviet diplomatic corps and her doctoral dissertation on the role of journalists in the Prague Spring of 1968.[37] She also took a graduate course given by Zbigniew Brzezinski, who later became her boss at the U.S. National Security Council.
Exploring Decaying SS United States Ocean liner Ship
Urban Exploration : Exploring Decaying SS United States Ocean Liner Ship
A few months ago, I was given the opportunity to check out the decaying SS Unites States Ocean liner. This ocean liner has been sitting in Philadelphia Pennsylvania since 1996. This ship is currently off limits to the public. It is located on a private shipyard shared with the US Govt. I had to undergo background checks to even step foot on the port. Exploring this one without permission is straight up impossible so DO NOT ATTEMPT!
The SS United States is one of the last remaining Ocean Liners. SSUS was part of the United States Lines Fleet. The ships first maiden voyage was in 1952. The ship is about 990 feet long (5 City Blocks) and it is built by famous naval architect, William Gibbs. The SS United States was built different then other ocean liners during this time period. The ship was built with a mixture of steel and aluminum. Steel was used at the bow and on the lower decks as the entire upper desk was constructed of aluminum. The ship was also designed to be fireproof. No wood was used anywhere on the ship. Even the piano was designed with special fireproof wood. Mr. Gibbs designed the ship this way as the United States Govt wanted a ship that was safe and fast. Boy was she. The SS United States broke the speed record of 40-45MPH. It still holds the record today as the fastest Ocean Liner to ever cross the Atlantic Ocean. The US Govt second request was to have a ship built in the same quality as a naval ship. This was requested just incase World War III was to happen. The ship could've converted and transport 15,000 troops to Europe. The SS United States had areas for three classes, First Class, Cabin Class, and Tourist Class. Each class had access to certain areas of the ship. Many famous people traveled to and from the United States on this ship. However in the 60s, transportation across the Atlantic Ocean by plane was much faster. This in turn destroyed the ocean liners profit. Many ships like the Queen Mary, SS America, SS France, started to seize operations due to less interest. The SS United States last journey was in 1969. This massive ship never sailed on it own power again. It ended up being moved to Virginia under a new owner. All of the interior furniture was auctioned off. Some of the interior furniture including the ships horn can be found in museums. In the early 1990s, the ship was sent to Turkey to have its entire interior walls stripped to it bare bones due to asbestos. Then in 1996, the ship arrived to Philadelphia in hopes to be a riverfront Casino / Hotel. Those plans however fell through and the SS United States went through more owners. The ship was about to be scrapped until the SS United States Conservatory bought the ship. The owner of the group is the great granddaughter of William Gibbs, the creator of this ship. They been actively trying to find a owner to restore the ship. Many people are interested, just nothing has been finalized. They rely off donations to keep the ship docked which cost them 50,000 Us Dollars a month. Donations are keeping this ship afloat. If you would like to make a donation to help save the ship, go to to make a donation.

What Happened When We Visited a Haunted House in New York
When Miss Fanny Van Wyck, born in 1903, passed away in 1988, she could never have imagined her house would be auctioned off by the state against her dying wish. Now her ghost is believed to remain in Miss Fanny's Victorian Party House in Poughkeepsie, New York. The home is known as one of the most haunted in New York State. InsideEdition.com visited the historic location with a psychic medium to explore the house and find out if it really is haunted. The results were truly terrifying.

TITANIC- FULL HD (Cabins, Halls and Decks)
RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early hours of 15 April 1912, after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. There were an estimated 2,224 passengers and crew aboard, and more than 1,500 died, making it one of the deadliest commercial peacetime maritime disasters in modern history. RMS Titanic was the largest ship afloat at the time she entered service and was the second of three Olympic-class ocean liners operated by the White Star Line. She was built by the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. Thomas Andrews, chief naval architect of the shipyard at the time, died in the disaster.[4]
Titanic was under the command of Capt. Edward Smith, who also went down with the ship. The ocean liner carried some of the wealthiest people in the world, as well as hundreds of emigrants from Great Britain and Ireland, Scandinavia and elsewhere throughout Europe who were seeking a new life in the United States. The first-class accommodation was designed to be the pinnacle of comfort and luxury, with an on-board gymnasium, swimming pool, libraries, high-class restaurants and opulent cabins. A high-powered radiotelegraph transmitter was available for sending passenger marconigrams and for the ship's operational use.[5] Although Titanic had advanced safety features such as watertight compartments and remotely activated watertight doors, it only carried enough lifeboats for 1,178 people—about half the number on board, and one third of her total capacity—due to outdated maritime safety regulations. The ship carried 16 lifeboat davits which could lower three lifeboats each, for a total of 48 boats. However, Titanic carried only a total of 20 lifeboats, four of which were collapsible and proved hard to launch during the sinking.[6]
After leaving Southampton on 10 April 1912, Titanic called at Cherbourg in France and Queenstown (now Cobh) in Ireland before heading west to New York.[7] On 14 April, four days into the crossing and about 375 miles (600 km) south of Newfoundland, she hit an iceberg at 11:40 p.m. ship's time. The collision caused the hull plates to buckle inwards along her starboard (right) side and opened five of her sixteen watertight compartments to the sea; she could only survive four flooding. Meanwhile, passengers and some crew members were evacuated in lifeboats, many of which were launched only partially loaded. A disproportionate number of men were left aboard because of a women and children first protocol for loading lifeboats.[8] At 2:20 a.m., she broke apart and foundered with well over one thousand people still aboard. Just under two hours after Titanic sank, the Cunard liner RMS Carpathia arrived and brought aboard an estimated 705 survivors.
The disaster was met with worldwide shock and outrage at the huge loss of life and the regulatory and operational failures that led to it. Public inquiries in Britain and the United States led to major improvements in maritime safety. One of their most important legacies was the establishment in 1914 of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), which still governs maritime safety. Additionally, several new wireless regulations were passed around the world in an effort to learn from the many missteps in wireless communications—which could have saved many more passengers.[9]
The wreck of Titanic was discovered in 1985 (more than 70 years after the disaster), during a US military mission[10] and remains on the seabed. The ship was split in two and is gradually disintegrating at a depth of 12,415 feet (3,784 m). Thousands of artefacts have been recovered and displayed at museums around the world. Titanic has become one of the most famous ships in history; her memory is kept alive by numerous works of popular culture, including books, folk songs, films, exhibits, and memorials. Titanic is the second largest ocean liner wreck in the world, only beaten by her sister HMHS Britannic, the largest ever sunk, although she holds the record as the largest sunk while actually in service as a liner due to Britannic being used as a hospital ship at the time of her sinking. The final survivor of the sinking, Millvina Dean, aged two months at the time, died in 2009 at the age of 97.
